Today marks your arrival in Wales, home of mythical dragons as seen on our flag. Settle into your accommodation, surrounded by the natural beauty and immerse yourself in its enchanting landscapes. Spend the evening relaxing ready for the start of your adventure.

Meal: No Meal
Start your day by visiting the Big Pit National Coal Museum. Rather than looking at artifacts through a window, this experience lets you experience for yourself the sights, sounds, smells and atmosphere of an authentic coal mine for a world-famous underground tour. Led by a real miner, the tour will take you 300ft underground through original mine workings. It will give you a living, breathing taste of what life was like for those who made their living at the coal face. After a leisurely lunch make your way into the Brecon Beacons for a Piggy Walking experience. Have a mini adventure and take some cute little Kune pigs for a piggy walk along a beautiful valley in the Brecon Beacons, followed by a “Picnic” of tea/coffee/squash and cakes. This is a unique way to experience a National Park. After your day make your way to the Capital City Cardiff for the night. Overnight: Cardiff.
What better way to explore a city than on a bike tour, over three hours you’ll explore the sights and stories of Cardiff, from Romans to rock stars. Along bike lanes and through the city’s parks, learn the history behind Cardiff’s landmarks and visit the parts other tours can’t reach. With frequent stops and an easy pace, this shared tour will introduce you to Cardiff Bay, Bute Park and much more with fun and fascinating local guides. After a deserved lunch break in one of the Victorian Arcades it’s time for Cardiff Castle with remains dating from Roman, Norman, and Victorian times, climb the stairs to the Norman Keep and enjoy the views of the city from its centrepiece. No visit to Cardiff is complete without a visit to oldest record store in the world, Spillers Records. Enjoy your final evening in the capital of Wales with a meal with a view in Cardiff Bay overlooking the waterfront. Overnight: Cardiff.
Head west along the South Wales coast towards Pembrokeshire for an exhilarating experience Coasteering, this new adventure sport has been credited to Pembrokeshire and is an all-in-one experience that treats the foreshore as an eco-adventure playground. It’s about rock-hopping, shore-scrambling, swell-riding, cave-exploring and cliff-jumping. But it’s as much about discovering wildlife and the coastline at close quarters. This will be an unforgettable adventure along the stunning stretch of coast from Stackpole Quay to Barafundle Bay for three hours with other thrill seekers on a shared lesson and includes all equipment. Experience the beauty of the Pembrokeshire coastline in a unique way and have fun on the coast. Explore more of this National Park with the many coastal walks available and for Harry Potter fans a visit to Dobby’s grave is a must on Freshwater West beach. As well as Wales’s favourite seaside resort Tenby with its multi coloured quaint houses and boutique shops before heading to your hotel for the evening. Overnight: Pembrokeshire.
As you bid farewell to Pembrokeshire and head towards North Wales, enjoy the Cambrian Mountains and the surrounding epic scenery. First stop is to Beddgelert the pretty village within the National Park famous for its dog. Then onto Snowdon Mountain Railway, a once in a lifetime adventure on the train that takes you the top of the highest mountain in England and Wales, which has been described as one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world. A journey experienced by millions of travellers since 1896 and the UK’s highest visitor centre at 1,085 meters above sea level. With stunning scenery and awe-inspiring views, it’s a great experience. Continue north as you travel through Snowdonia National Park to your hotel. Overnight: North Wales.
Time to hit the water for a scenic and wildlife packed sea safari boat trip to Puffin Island, experience the best nature and wildlife on this 80-minute shared boat trip. As well as a host of sea birds you can expect to see seals and possibly dolphins in this wildlife hotspot around the island of Anglesey. This afternoon it's time to head inland for some off-road adventure, submerge in the rich history of Penrhyn Quarry on a quarry tour. Enjoy the thrilling ride as you’re driven in army trucks around the famous site and soak up the magnificent panoramic views. Overnight: North Wales.
Today explore the landscape of legends at Llangollen and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, located in the beautiful Dee Valley. This World Heritage site is surrounded by stunning scenery and wonderful Welsh wildlife. Time for a family friendly adventure paddling over the highest aqueduct in the world at 126ft above the river. This is the perfect adventure for those wanting to explore the outdoors whilst learning a new skill and no experience is necessary, in a small group with a paddle sports instructor you’ll learn the basics and navigate along the canal and over the aqueduct whilst your instructor points out places of interest and the local knowledge. Spend some time in the local area to visit the River Dee and local town before arriving at your hotel for the evening. Overnight: Wrexham.
On your last day, bid farewell to Wales as you embark on your return journey home full of memorable moments of your Welsh adventure.
