Overview
This is part of a series of programs that immerse our visitors in unique experiences in a particular destination that possesses unspoiled nature, ancient cultures and large, spectacular open spaces, on a journey that reaches the depths of the soul, “away from the crowds”.
Detailed Itinerary
08:00 Pick up in a PRIVATE 4X4 from Hito Cajón (Chile-Bolivia Border) to the Eduardo Avaroa National Park.
Visit of the "Green Lagoon", similar to a giant emerald and impressive view of the Licancabur Volcano, at 5,865 m.a.s.l. Enjoy the Dalí Desert.
Continue to the “Sol de Mañana” Geysers, fumaroles and volcanic craters with 24 hours of activity at 4,900 m.a.s.l.
Go through unique landscapes until you reach the enormous "Laguna Colorada", at 4,278 meters above sea level, inhabited by huge flocks of 3 species of flamingos.
Visit the “Ramaditas” “Honda”, “Chiarcota” and “Kañapa” Lagoons. Box lunch on route.
Arrival at the “Laguna Hedionda”, named for the high sulfur content in the water.
Dinner and lodging in exclusive Domes.
Enjoy the Flamingos that stroll near the Dome; walk through the surroundings and travel by 4x4 to overlook of the Ollagüe
Volcano, “Salar de Chiguana”. Box lunch on route.
Continue to the “Salt Cave” and the “Mummy of the Child”.
Arrival at the "Salar de Uyuni", enjoy your first impression of the largest salt flat on Earth with over 10,000 square kilometres. The sound of silence makes the heart beat faster and the pentagons of crystalline salt, "unique" in the world, the pure sky and the surreal landscape, undoubtedly make you feel that there is no other place like this in the whole world
Dinner and accommodation in the Deluxe Camper.
Continue by 4x4 to another isolated islands - Arrive at Jirira for lunch.
PM visit to the "Cave of Chiquini". Return to the shore of the Thunupa volcano, where your Deluxe Airstream Camper will already be prepared for you.
The Bolivian Andes offer dazzling landscapes that can hardly be matched. Be amazed by the colors of the Uyuni sky mixed with the white desert, while enjoying a cocktail at sunset.
Dinner in our special Sky-lounge Explorer Camper and enjoy a unique opportunity to observe the stars while learning about the Andean Cosmovision.
Accommodation in our Deluxe Airstream Camper.
Early in the morning visit the “Incawasi” Island, an oasis with formations of algae and fossils. It is covered by thousands of giant cacti. The 360-degree landscape of the Salar -extending to the horizon- makes it an ideal place for "photo hunters".
Lunch with our Haute Cuisine Camper -if possible, aside by a reflecting pool-.
PM visit to the small town of "Tahua", walk through the town and walk to the cave of the "Mummies of Coquesa".
Transfer to Colchani to visit the native salt production factory.
Dinner and accommodation at the Luna Salada Hotel completely built of salt- Standard Room.
Transfer to the airport of Uyuni.

PLEASE NOTE:
During raining season, usually from December to March, the Salt Flats, as well as the Red & Green Lagoon can become flooded any moment and it won’t be possible to visit some attractions, such as Incawasi and some others, in order to preserve passenger’s safety.
Also, the moving of the Campers on the Salt Lake cannot be guaranteed during that time. Om addition, we warn our visitors that roads at the Salt Lake are not paved and during raining season, the journeys can take much longer.
Please note that GGTS cannot be responsible of any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable. In case reasons of force majeure, such as adverse weather conditions, blockades, or strikes which will enforce a change of route, we will have to charge an additional cost, therefore we kindly ask that passengers be in title of a proper insurance to cover these costs. We would deliver the relevant letter, explaining the reasons why visitors had to pay this additional cost.
