This morning the tour continues to Ragusa Ibla, one of the pearls of the Sicilian Baroque. Today, after breakfast, you will meet our assistant at Rome Termini Station at about 8:30 a.m. to board the high-speed train to Naples (Optional: we offer a private transfer from the hotel to Termini Station). Upon arrival at Naples train station, you will meet our expert local assistant and then enjoy a direct transfer to your hotel. After breakfast, at about 10:00 a.m., you will proceed to Pompeii for a private guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years.
