On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met by your Chauffeur guide & transferred to your hotel in Colombo. Transfer Time (Airport to Colombo): Approximately 40 minutes. Check in at the hotel and relax till evening before exploring Colombo city.
Colombo City tour Colombo tour includes a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Lotus tower, Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. If time permits, you may also see the replica of Avukana Buddha & the Independence Square. You will be taken to visit the lotus tower to get mesmerizing views of the city line.
Return to the hotel and relax for the rest of your day enjoying hotel facilities.

Pick up time 08:00 am this day after breakfast you will proceed to Dambulla. Transfer Time (Colombo to Dambulla): Approx. 03 ½ hours. Check in to the hotel and relax till afternoon before heading to Minneriya National Park. Transfer Time (Hotel to Minneriya): Approx. 40 minutes.
Pick up time 01:30 pm afternoon, visit the Minneriya National Park for a safari. The Park extends to 8,889 hectares and is well known for its large population of elephants in herds of 100 to 150 roaming in the jungle and seen in the catchment area of the lake. Other wildlife that can be sighted include wild buffaloes, wild boar, spotted deer, sloth bear, sambhar, leopards, crocodiles, jackals, and numerous species of amphibians, reptiles, birds, fish and butterflies.
Return to your hotel in Dambulla and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Pick up at 07:00 am in the early morning and after an early breakfast you will be taken to climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Transfer Time (Hotel to Sigiriya): Approx. 20 minutes.
One of Sri Lanka’s major attractions, the Sigiriya Rock Fortress was built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) for the purpose of protecting him from his rivals. An UNSECO World Heritage listed site, also known as the “Fortress in the Sky”. The climb up to the top of the fortress doesn’t only offer the reward of breathtaking views but there is so much to discover during your climb to the top. Highlights of the climb include water gardens, artistic frescoes, mirror walls, the lion gate and the magnificent views from the rock summit.
Thereafter you will visit Polonnaruwa, on your way you will have lunch at Priya Mali Gedara. Transfer Time (Sigiriya Rock Fortress to Polonnaruwa): Approx. 01 ½ hour.
Polonnaruwa was founded in the 11th Century AD and was governed by many Kings. King Parakramabahu I’s reign was considered the most significant for this ancient kingdom. During his reign (12th Century AD) this second Kingdom of Sri Lanka (after Anuradhapura) was known as the Golden Age of Polonnaruwa, as Parakramabahu ruled during an era where trade and agriculture was at its peak.

Pick up at 09:00 am after leisurely breakfast you will proceed to Kandy, on your way you will visit Dambulla Cave temple. Transfer Time (Dambulla to Kandy): Approx. 02 ½ hours.
Dambulla cave temple is part of the Golden Triangle of Sri Lanka and is encrusted into a magnificently large rock. It sits more than 160m above the surrounding land and spans for more than 1.5 km around the base. Also known as the “Golden Temple” it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991. This ancient complex was initially established in 3rd Century BC and is truly a wonder as it is the largest and best-preserved cave temples in Sri Lanka. The cave temples are home to numerous religious and cultural paintings and sculptures.
Continue your journey to Kandy, check in to the hotel and relax till evening before heading to Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic. Transfer Time (Hotel to Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic): Approx. 20 minutes.
Pick up time 05:00 pm The Temple of Tooth Relic (“Dalada Maligawa” as known to the locals) is located in Kandy. This sacred temple is also home to the palm-leaf transcripts and its history dates back to 1687. This stunning piece of architecture is instantly recognized by its octagonal shape and golden roof. Although you are not able to view the actual tooth itself, the casket within which it is held is displayed twice a day.
Thereafter you will witness a Cultural Dance show. Return back to the hotel and relax for the rest of your day enjoying hotel facilities.

Pick up time 08:00 am today after early breakfast you will get on board to the local train (01st class tickets or 02nd tickets) which is how the British used to travel during the colonial times in the late 1800’s. You will have reserved seats for you and witness the beautiful ride along forests, villages, Waterfalls and tea estates.
Train journey from Kandy station to Nanu Oya station. Train leaves Kandy by 08:45 am and reaches Nanu Oya by 12:45 pm. Approx. 04 hours’ journey

• It is important to note that there have been delays in the train timings quite often.
• Please note the purchase of train tickets cannot be guaranteed currently due to the process in place within the Sri Lanka Railways Department especially during peak periods. Tickets for travel are issued 30 days in advance of travel, they are limited and extremely difficult to obtain. In the unlikely event a ticket/s cannot be obtained we will of course make the necessary refunds & the clients will travel by road. This is a destination issue, and it is best expectations are managed accordingly.

Pick up time 08:00 am this day after breakfast you will proceed to Yala. Transfer Time (Nuwara Eliya – Yala): Approx. 6 hours.
Yala has a wealth of many places to visit with much to offer in Sri Lanka. Well renowned for its Yala National Park, it is an important tourist attraction that one must include when visiting Sri Lanka. Yala has many things to do such as visiting Kataragama Kiri Vehera being one of the most popular Buddhist Pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka.
Yala National Park is the second largest and the most visited park in Sri Lanka. It consists of five blocks, of which two are open to the public, including adjoining parks. The Park being 979 square kilometers in area is spread out in the Southern Province and Uva province of Sri Lanka. The Park is vital for the conservation of Sri Lankan Elephants and water birds and many other wild animals. The Park is best known for the variety of wild animals of which 44 species of mammals, 215 species of birds and 46 species of reptiles are resident in it. Of the mammals, Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan Sloth Bear, Sri Lankan Leopard, Wild water buffalo are threatened species. Engage in an evening Jeep safari at the park upon arriving in Yala.

Pick up time 08:00 am depart for Galle after breakfast. Transfer Time (Yala – Galle): Approx. 3 1/2 hours. En route, you'll visit the Koggala stilt fishermen and watch them go about their daily routine. In chest-deep water, just a few meters off the shore, the stilt fishermen perch on a single pole planted into the seabed. This is a common fishing method among the locals in the southern part of Sri Lanka.
Upon arrival in Galle, enjoy a guided tour of the city, renowned for its colonial architecture and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Galle Fort, a 16th-century landmark. Before Colombo, Galle was the island’s main seaport and is home to the historic fort, originally built by the Portuguese in 1619 and later expanded by the Dutch and British. After exploring the fort and the charming streets of Galle.
Transfer to hotel in Galle for night stay.

Having reached at the end of your program, you will be transferred to the Bandaranaike International Airport from where you will continue onwards to your next destination.
