Free time in this charming town, known for its wineries and dominated by its impressive castle, featuring the elegant Torre do Relógio. After breakfast, we will depart for Tomar, a city steeped in history and mystery, where you will discover its rich heritage as an ancient stronghold of the Knights Templar. The highlight of your visit will be the Convent of Christ, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its impressive Manueline architecture and intricate details. Free time to stroll through the ancient streets, visit old churches, and immerse yourself in the captivating stories of this charming town. Continue to Coimbra and meet with a local guide for a city tour, known for its prestigious university (one of the oldest in Europe), its charming medieval streets, and its beautiful riverside promenade. Free time and then departure to Porto, where we will visit one of the city’s renowned wineries for a tasting of the local wine, and we will visit the museum “Porto Across The Ages,” which will help us understand the history of this city. Guided tour of Porto, the second city of Portugal, which boasts significant historical and cultural heritage, including the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the Church of Santa Clara. Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Manueline Gothic style, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Free time, then continue to Obidos, a charming medieval town located in central Portugal. It is famous for its well-preserved castle and historic centre, characterized by narrow cobblestone streets, whitewashed houses adorned with colourful flowers, and traditional tilework. The town is surrounded by solid 14th-century walls, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. After this stop, we will depart for Lisbon. Arrival and accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Merida, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Merida, the capital of Extremadura, is known for its rich historical heritage, including its well-preserved Roman ruins: the theatre, the amphitheatre, and the Roman bridge. Free time, then continue to Madrid. Accommodation.

In the morning, a panoramic city tour will take us through its medieval origins, including the Arab fortress and the Barrio de la Morería, known for its ancient buildings and traditional taverns. We will explore the district of the Hapsburgs, characterized by Phillip II and its Renaissance and Baroque buildings at Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa. We will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban planning of Charles III, including the Royal Palace, the Cibeles Fountain, the Neptune Fountain, and the Puerta de Alcalá. We will admire 19th-century landmarks such as the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum. We will also get to know contemporary Madrid with avenues like Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, the Salamanca neighbourhood, Parque del Oeste, commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
