Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport in Managua, the country’s capital city you will be met by our Guide who will accompany you to the hotel for check-in. 1500 hrs Tour Managua, the capital city of Nicaragua since 1852. Destroyed by an earthquake in 1972 is today the entry to the adventure; culture and natural wonders of Nicaragua. Enjoy a visit to the Central Park; Old Cathedral “Santiago de los Caballeros”; National Theater “Ruben Dario” and the famous Puerto Salvador Allende on the shore of Lake Managua. Accommodation in Managua.
Breakfast at hotel 0830 hrs. Discover Granada, the most beautiful, beguiling and photogenic Spanish-Colonial city and oldest continuously inhabited European established settlement in Nicaragua founded by Spanish captain Francisco Hernández de Cordoba in 1524. Stopover at Doña Elba Cigars founded by the first cigar master in Granada Mr Silvio Reyes since 1991. Walk on the central park and the famous La Calzada Street. Enjoy a pleasant boat trip thru the lush and romantic volcanic islets of Lake Nicaragua. Lunch not included. Later today in the afternoon 1500 hrs. Bate Bate Chocolate Tour: Make and learn about the nature of cocoa and the history of chocolate and prepare your own chocolate bar step by step. Accommodation in Granada.

Get away from the city and enjoy a pleasant beautiful day at the fresh water crater lake beach on the Laguna de Apoyo (Apoyo Lagoon), one of the most unique and peaceful swims you’ll ever take.
