Goa, the smallest Indian state and much-loved tourist place of India, is situated in the coastal Konkan region and on the bank of Arabian Sea which forms its western coast. Despite a moderate climate in Goa, monsoon takes as many as 5 months – from June to September – to last. Due to its being located in the coastal Konkan region and in the vicinity of Western Ghats, Goa is blessed with a pleasant and sunny weather. The state faces no extremes in temperature and no clear demarcations between two seasons, except in the monsoon. Its average temperature ranges between 25°C to 30°C (67.96F to 81.56F Approx.).
Equatorial forest cover in Goa is scaled at 1,424 sq. km (549.81 sq. miles). Government owns most of this forest cover. Government owned forest stands at 1,224.38 sq. km (472.74 sq. mile) and private at 200 sq. km (77.22 sq. mile). The wildlife sanctuaries of Goa houses over 1512 documented genera of plants, over 275 species of birds, over 48 genera of animals and over 60 species of reptiles.
Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival in Goa make your own way to your hotel for check in.
Known as a ‘tourist paradise’, Goa is located on the west coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. The magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendors of its temples, churches and old houses have made Goa a firm favorite with travelers around the world. Goa is much more than just beaches and sea; it has a soul which goes deep into unique history, rich culture and some of the prettiest natural scenery that India has to offer.

Enjoy a full day city tour of Goa, starting with a visit to Altinho Hill and its breathtaking view of Panjim and the river Mandovi. Continue to Dona Paula for a view of Marmgoa, India’s largest natural harbor.
Later visit Old Goa, located 9km east of Panaji, it was founded in 1510 by Alfonso de Albuquerque as the capital. The old city is well known for its churches.
Start with the Professed House and Basilica of Bom Jesus built in the 16th Century it contains the tomb of St. Francis Xavier. You will then visit Se. Cathedral the biggest church in the east, St. Cajetan built like St. Peters in Rome, the Church of Lady Rosary and St. Monica. Conclude the day with some shopping at the local market in Panjim city.

Today is at leisure in Goa for you to relax by the beach or enjoy all the activities around Goa and the resort. If you wish, you may like to travel into Panjim city to further sightsee or do some shopping. (No Guide/No Transportation).

This is the last day of the Goa tour. Munch some delicious breakfast and then check out of the hotel. Start driving towards the airport and on reaching, board your flight to home. The tour ends here. (No Guide/No Transportation).

IMPORTANT:

2. Kindly note that names of hotels mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. In the event of accommodation not becoming available at any of the above mentioned hotels we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
3. Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
4. GGTS total liability, at law in respect of any package or services towards its customers (including, but not limited to all cost expenses and fees), shall be limited to and shall not exceed the value of the total amount of the invoice paid to GGTS and the parties agree that this amount is a reasonable and genuine pre estimate of the liability of the GGTS.
5. GGTS shall not be held responsible for any act of omissions and commissions by third parties Service Providers for negligence, civil wrongs, criminal acts of third parties Service Provider, including Indian / overseas Governmental Agencies / Authorities, Airlines, Transporters, Hotels, Excursions/Activities Operators etc.
6. GGTS shall not be liable for any non-performance of any obligations hereunder arising from acts of God: acts of a public enemy, acts of any governmental authority or any political subdivision or any department or regulatory agency thereof or entity created thereby; acts of any person engaged in subversive activity or sabotage; fires, floods, explosions, or other catastrophes; strikes, embargoes or any other act or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of GGTS. The failure of either Party to act upon any right or remedy it has or upon any breach by the other Party shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other right, remedy, or breach. No waiver is effective unless made in writing and signed by the waiving Party.
