Experience the unique Icelandic lava show, where you can experience and feel the heat of the molten lava! We walk along the black lava beach of Reynisfjara near Vik. In the small village of Skógar is the 60-meter-high Skógafoss waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in the country. We continue to the tall but narrow waterfall Seljalandsfoss, which plunges over the mountain. Behind the waterfall there is an interesting path – if you are ready to get wet!

Today we explore the classics on our journey to the sights of the Golden Circle. We start the day in Friðheimar, where we visit a geothermal greenhouse and learn about the Icelandic horse, its special characteristics and its history. Later, when we arrive, we see the steam from the geothermal fields of Geysir. There are a variety of hot springs and bubbling pools here. The original geyser is now extinct and has been replaced by the Strokkur, which erupts at intervals of 5-7 minutes. Continue to Gullfoss, the "golden waterfall," a double waterfall that plunges 34 meters into the Hvítá River and attracts travellers in both summer and winter. We head inland to Þingvellir National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way back to Reykjavík, we will see the highlights of the world's northernmost capital on a short city tour. The guided tour ends on Thursdays between 16:00-18:00 with a final overnight stay in Reykjavík.
