Overview
One of the best ways to discover the wonders of the Faroe Islands is by bike. This tour includes all of the highlights of this stunning, remote country and you get to experience it all on the most exciting bike ride of your life.
Detailed Itinerary
Arrival at own itinerary. Transfer at own itinerary to the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up your bike and get to know the capital city on a guided three hour tour in and around Tórshavn and to historical Kirkjubø. The tour ends at Gomlurætt, where you will take the ferry to the island Sandoy where you will stay for the next two nights.
Breakfast at accommodation. Today you will cycle to the small, charming village of Skarvanes. as well as a deserted palace Søltuvík
Breakfast and check out from the accommodation in Sandoy. After that you will cycle to Skopun and take the ferry to Gamlarætt. Cycle from Gamlarætt to Tórshavn. Take a taxi or the local bus to Vágar or alternative cycle to Vágar. At Vágar you will cycle to Gásadalur and see the famous waterfall “Múlafossur”.
Breakfast at accommodation. Today you will cycle to lake Sørvágsvatn and hike to the waterfall “Bøstalafoss” You will also cycle to Sandavágur and hike to the tall monolith “Trøllkonufingur”. Total cycling of day 4 and 5: Cycling about 75 km (6 hours) and hiking about 3 hours
