Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival in Dresden, private transfer to your hotel (optional). At 6 pm starts a regular city tour (Hop on / Hop off bus) during the night to enjoy the beauty of the illuminated city.
A day full of culture and art waits for you: you receive the “Dresden City Card and Dresden Museums Card” valid for 2 days. You can use it for all public transport within the zone of Dresden. Additionally, you have free admission to 14 exhibitions in the city, e.g. Neues Grünes Gewölbe Museum
and Gemälde Alte Meister Art Gallery. It also includes discounts for tourist and cultural attractions like a concert at the church of our Lady (Frauenkirche).
After breakfast board a steamboat across the Elbe river to the Pillnitz Castle. It was built with a focus on the chinoiserie style “Chinesco” and this is what makes it different to the other German palaces. Enjoy some free time in its gigantic gardens. Travel back by boat to Dresden. The afternoon is free.
