The Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled in the north eastern part of the country, unfolds along the banks of the Douro River and its terraced vineyards, renowned for producing the famous Port wine. Terras de Basto, part of the expansive Vinhos Verdes (Green Wines) region in north western Portugal, is celebrated for its production of Vinho Verde, aptly named for its youthful vibrancy and distinctive character.
Our walking tour goes beyond mere exploration of natural landscapes, conservation areas, and cultural sites. Detailed Itinerary
Transfer to Hotel Régua Douro in Douro Valley (1 hour 30 minutes), transfer leaves Porto airport at 3 pm (meeting point at the airport at 3pm). Welcome Dinner in Peso da Régua.
