Our adventure begins with the renowned Guided Iceland Circle tour, celebrated for its comprehensive exploration of Iceland’s diverse landscapes, revealing majestic volcanoes, expansive lava fields, hot springs, towering mountains, serene fjords, shimmering glaciers, glacier lagoons, and thundering waterfalls. During the tour, we will explore the vibrant capital city of Reykjavik for a three-day stay. Indulge in an authentic Icelandic food walk, optional ATV trip or horseback riding, and relax with a rejuvenating soak in the newly opened Sky Lagoon. Ample free time will also be provided for you to explore at your leisure. Continuing on, the journey takes us into the remote beauty of Iceland’s Westfjords, where we will uncover a tapestry of rich history, culture, and stunning landscapes.

Our journey begins as our guide greets us at 09:00 in the lobby of Berjaya Reykajvík Natura Hotel. We’ll then venture westward along the stunning Hvalfjörður fjord towards Borgarnes. Enjoy a leisurely hike on the Grábrók volcano crater amidst lush lava fields. Explore the charm of Glaumbær, an enchanting turf house farm and folk museum. Traverse scenic fjords and mountain passes until we reach Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland. Spend the rest of the day exploring this picturesque town at your own pace before settling in for the night. Rest well in Akureyri.

We kick off our day with a leisurely exploration of Akureyri, often hailed as the capital of North Iceland, treating you to stunning panoramic views of Eyjafjörður fjord.

In the afternoon, we set out to discover the majestic Goðafoss, known as the ‘waterfalls of the Gods.’ Then, immerse ourselves in the geological wonders of Lake Mývatn, renowned for its unique lava formations, pseudocraters at Skútustaðir, and the volcanic tephra cone, Hverfjall. Finally, unwind with a relaxing soak at the geothermal Mývatn Nature Baths, boasting panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Starting our day anew, we venture into the otherworldly realm of Dimmuborgir, a labyrinth of lava formations steeped in mythical folklore, believed to be the abode of trolls. Continuing our odyssey, we explore the geothermal marvels of Námaskarð, where bubbling mud pools and steaming solfataras paint an eerie yet mesmerizing landscape. Our journey then winds through the uninhabited highlands and lunar-like vistas en route to East Iceland. The day ends with a visit to the majestic Dettifoss waterfall, adding another layer of awe to our adventure.

Continuing our expedition, we marvel at the rugged beauty of the East Fjords, taking in the awe-inspiring fjord landscape and exploring a captivating stone and mineral collection. Our journey then leads us to Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier, where we witness its majestic expanse. Finally, we delve into the ethereal beauty of Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, where we set out on an unforgettable amphibian boat tour, gliding amidst the shimmering icebergs and tranquil waters. Our adventure continues to the enchanting Breiðamerkursandur (Diamond Beach), a spectacle not to be missed, where we witness the glittering ice sculptures adorning the black volcanic sands.

We journey along the southern part of the Vatnajökull glacier and take in the sights of Europe’s second-largest national park, boasting Iceland’s tallest mountains, alpine landscapes, and the continent’s largest glacier.
In the afternoon, a scenic drive awaits as we traverse the Eldhraun lava field and cross the sandy expanse of the southern coast, flanked by towering cliffs, glaciers, and cascading waterfalls. Experience the captivating Icelandic Lava Show, offering a firsthand encounter with the intense heat of molten lava. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the black lava beach of Reynisfjara near Vík, followed by a visit to the charming village of Skógar, home to the majestic Skógafoss waterfall, standing at an impressive 60 meters. Continue to the narrow yet striking Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where an adventurous trail leads behind the cascading water – be prepared to embrace the spray!

Discover iconic attractions today as we explore the Golden Circle route. Start our day at Friðheimar, where we’ll learn about the history and unique qualities of the Icelandic horse, followed by a visit to a geothermal greenhouse. Later, marvel at the steaming wonders of the Geysir geothermal fields, featuring bubbling pools and the active Strokkur geyser, erupting at 5-7 minute intervals. Continue our journey to Gullfoss, known as “the golden falls,” where we’ll witness the double waterfall plunging 32 meters into the Hvítá river. Venture inland to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its historical and geological significance.
As we return to Reykjavík, enjoy a brief city tour highlighting the best of the world’s northernmost capital. After this day, you will depart for three days in Reykjavík on your own until meeting the next group.

Today we explore Reykjavík on our own and then set out on an exploration of the Atlantic Ocean’s wildlife with a Whale Watching tour from Reykjavik. Encounter Iceland’s rich bird life and an array of sea creatures, including minke whales, humpback whales, harbour porpoises, and white-beaked dolphins.

Today we will start our journey to the remote Westfjords, meet your guide at the hotel lobby at 09:00. Our first stop of the day is at Grábrók, a 3,400-year-old volcanic crater offering panoramic valley views. Continuing, we venture to Eiríksstaðir, once the dwelling of Viking explorers Eirik the Red and Leif the Lucky. Explore Viking life and Icelandic history as you visit a replica longhouse and living museum. Afterwards, we visit Þingmannaá Waterfall, the first of many charming waterfalls in the Westfjords. Finally, we will settle in for the next two nights in the picturesque fishing village of Patreksfjörður, boasting breathtaking views of the fjord and the Greenland Sea. Now you have the opportunity to experience first hand staying in a remote village in the Westfjords of Iceland.

Our day begins at Rauðisandur, one of Iceland’s most picturesque beaches. Extending for 10 kilometres, this beach features striking red sand blending seamlessly with the turquoise waters, providing stunning photo opportunities. Next, we visit the Hnjótur Folk Museum, offering insights into daily life in the Westfjords and Iceland’s rich agricultural and seafaring history. We then proceed to Látrabjarg, Europe’s tallest seabird cliffs and the westernmost point in Iceland. From here, enjoy uninterrupted views of the North Atlantic and observe bird colonies including puffins, razorbills, and guillemots. Along the journey, we will also encounter the historic shipwreck Garðar, Iceland’s oldest steel ship. As the day winds down, we return to Patreksfjörður to unwind after an adventurous day.

Our journey commences at Dynjandi waterfall, hailed as one of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural wonders. With its tiered structure, Dynjandi creates a mesmerizing cascade of smaller falls. Continuing along the coastline and fjords, we arrive at the picturesque pier of Önundarfjörður. Extending gracefully from a golden beach into the water, this pier offers panoramic vistas of the fjord. Our exploration leads us to Flateyri village, where we pause at the hidden gem, Gamla bókabúðin or “The Old Bookstore”. Operating since 1914, this quaint store is a treasure trove of unique souvenirs and showcases traditional Icelandic design. Delving into Flateyri’s history, we learn about the 1995 avalanche and visit the protective fences erected to safeguard locals. In the afternoon, we reach Ísafjörður, the largest town in the Westfjords, our base for the next two nights.

This morning, we embark on an adventure to Bolafjall, a towering mountain reaching 640 meters high. Here, a steel viewing platform offers a breathtaking perspective over the sea and nearby fjords, sure to exhilarate even the most daring. Visit the restored fishing hut at Ósvör Maritime Museum, where you’ll delve into the history of rowboat fishing and the rugged life in isolated fishing villages during the 19th century. Later, we journey to Suðureyri village for a leisurely stroll and indulge in delectable seafood sourced from local producers, immersing ourselves in Iceland’s rich maritime heritage.
In the afternoon, enjoy leisure time in Ísafjörður or opt for an exciting addon activity. Choose from a thrilling ATV tour around Ísafjörður or embark on a visit to the enchanting island of Vigur, renowned for its abundant wildlife including puffins, Arctic terns, eiders, guillemots, and more.

Today, we journey along the scenic fjords of Ísafjarðardjúp, offering breathtaking views and the chance to spot majestic whales if luck is on our side! Our adventure continues with a visit to the Saltverk factory in Reykjanes, where we delve into the fascinating process of salt manufacturing powered entirely by geothermal energy. Next, we explore the charming village of Hólmavík and its captivating Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft, delving into the rich history and folklore surrounding these mystical practices. Here, we marvel at ancient grimoires, ritual objects, and the intriguing Icelandic magical staves believed to hold protective and magical properties. After a day filled with excitement and discovery, we retreat to the remote Vogur Country Lodge in West Iceland, nestled near the stunning Breiðafjörður Bay, offering a serene and picturesque overnight.

Following a week filled with fascinating discoveries, we journey back to Reykjavík, making several delightful stops along the way. Our first destination is Hraunfossar, also known as “the lava waterfalls,” where glacial waters filter through lava for hundreds of kilometres, creating a mesmerizing spectacle as they appear to flow from the lava rocks. Next, we visit a charming horse farm, offering a close encounter with the Icelandic horse, known for its fluffy coat and friendly demeanour. In the afternoon, we explore the capital city, delving into its rich history and visiting iconic landmarks that showcase Reykjavík’s unique charm.
