Detailed Itinerary

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner on board. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Dubrovnik stands boldly under limestone mountain peaks along the rocky coastline of the gorgeous sea. It is no wonder why Lord Byron described it as the "Pearl of the Adriatic." Once the center of the Republic of Ragusa, the city’s medieval walls and stone streets are now famous worldwide as the main filming location for King’s Landing in Game of Thrones.

This morning, join us for an included excursion: Guided tour of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a precious gem that adorns the coast along the Adriatic Sea. Discover the natural beauty and rich history of this majestic city.

This afternoon, we suggest a walk along the city walls.(1) The 1.25-mile-long ramparts (2 km) completely enclose the old city and reach 82 feet high (25 m) in some areas. You’re guaranteed a fantastic view from atop!

After we return on board, we’ll begin to cruise towards the Italian coastline. Our ship will cruise through the night.

Included excursion this morning: Bari. Bari sits on the fertile coast facing the sea and serves as a gateway to the Adriatic. Its medieval, well-preserved old town contains a labyrinth of streets and alleys, along with beautiful palaces and several Roman monuments.

This afternoon, join us for an included excursion: Alberobello—known for its unique trulli buildings (traditional dry-stone huts with conical roofs). The trulli are known throughout the world for their singular beauty. The easily dismantled dwellings were invented at a time when the inhabitants needed an ingenious way to avoid taxation. Enjoy a stroll through the charming streets of its historic neighborhoods.

Included excursion this morning: Lecce, nicknamed "The Florence of the South." Nestled within the heel of "The Boot," Lecce possesses dazzling surprises at every corner. Among the many architectural splendors we’ll see from the outside are the buildings in the Piazza del Duomo—including the Duomo, Bishop’s Palace, and Seminary Palace—the Roman amphitheater excavated after World War II, and the Basilica di Santa Croce.

We’ll spend the afternoon cruising towards Sicily.

We’ll spend the morning cruising.

This afternoon, join us for an included excursion: Ortygia. One of the most fascinating cities in Sicily awaits us today. The 2,700-year-old city of Syracuse played a key role in ancient times when it was one of the major powers of the Mediterranean world. You'll visit Ortygia, the small island that is the historical center of the city. You'll come across the majestic ruins of the Greek Temple of Apollo, the Piazza Archimede, and the Piazza Duomo, an elliptical open space lined with harmonious and impressive buildings.

LA BELLE DE L’ADRIATIQUE will enter the Grand Harbor—also known as the Port of Valletta—a baroque wharf dating back to the 18th century. Imposing fortifications and impressive architecture surround the picturesque port. Enjoy some free time this morning to explore the Maltese capital on your own.

This afternoon, join us for an included excursion: Valletta. The splendid Maltese capital deserves a special visit. Perched on top of a steep cliff, its layout and architectural structures are remarkable. The city was built stone-by-stone by and for the Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem. We’ll make an exclusive stop at Saint John's Co-Cathedral.

OR

Mdina and Rabat. Mdina is a veritable open-air museum. The ancient Maltese capital holds many treasures, among them several of the most beautiful homes in the country. You’ll step back in time strolling through the labyrinth of streets lined with impressive palaces. We’ll then head to Rabat, with archaeological relics testifying to the town's importance during the Roman period. We'll visit Saint Paul’s and Saint Agatha’s Catacombs, the earliest and largest archaeological evidence of Christianity in Malta.
