Xin chao! Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam. Hanoi, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, is full of culture, history and the engaging contradictions of a rapidly developing and deeply traditional society. You are greeted by your guide and driver at Noi Bai International Airport for your transfer to the hotel. The hotel is ideally located in a quieter area of the old quarter.
Optional: Street food by Vespa
You have the possibility to ignite your Vietnam adventure thrillingly, picked up at your hotel in the late afternoon by vintage Vespa scooters and driven around the city to have a glance at its main places and different atmospheres. Several stops en route to try some street foods and a couple of drinks.

This morning, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and get ready for an exciting walking adventure. A few kilometres to see some of the best things Hanoi has to offers: large tree-bordered avenues, narrow pathways, lively street markets, busy crossroads… you will also walk along the famous Hanoi railway and visit a reputable tea house to taste the iconic lotus tea. The morning ends with the visit of the Temple of Literature and a street food lunch. The guide will walk you back to the hotel or arrange a taxi transfer if you prefer. The afternoon is at leisure. From your hotel, you can easily explore the rest of the Old Quarter and go have an ice cream by the Hoan Kiem Lake.

Enjoy an easy morning. We depart from your hotel at 10.00 and head Southwest on the Ho Chi Minh Road to the Tam Diep mountain range. The guide will arrange a stop on the way for a simple lunch at a local restaurant. In the early afternoon, we drive up a pass and reach, at its top, the entrance of the unknown Ngoc Son Ngo Luong nature reserve. We slowly go down into the valley and reach the first plateau. The scenery is beautiful, terraced rice-fields with mountains covered in jungle as a background. We reach at the bottom of the valley a private lodge set by cascades and natural pools. We are hosted by a family of Muong ethnic people, warm welcome and genuine cultural immersion. Enjoy a dip in the pool and a beautiful sunset over the rice fields after a very short walk across the village. Dinner and overnight on spot.

A full day in the valley to enjoy the cascades, take a walk to a waterfall, read a book on your private terrace, appreciate the fact to be here. If you’re up for it, you can also ask your guide to join the family in the preparation of the lunch or dinner. Depending on the day, there might even be some agricultural little works you could join hands in.

After breakfast, we head to Ninh Binh region, the so-called inland Halong bay. It is an about 2-hour drive to a hidden corner of the region called Mount Tuon, where we have lunch. In the afternoon we start a nice scenic rowed sampan cruise to reach Tam Coc, the most renowned valley of the region for its towering limestone rocks and beautiful rice fields. After a short transfer to the hotel for the check-in, let’s hop on bicycles and go explore the quaint countryside around further. Stop by the Bich Dong Pagoda and climb up its three levels to enjoy beautiful views over the region. Return to the hotel for a refreshing swim before dinner.

We then embark on a beautifully crafted junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Once on board, we are served a delicious seafood-based lunch, while the surrounding limestone outcrops make for a truly magical setting. In the afternoon, we reach a less-travelled area where we will devote ourselves to pure relaxation. The program is not fixed and depends on the time of the year and the weather, but there will be an opportunity to visit a cave as well as explore a floating village over the course of these 2 days. We end the day on the sundeck as the sun sets on this magical seascape. This evening, you can enjoy an aperitif or attend a cooking demonstration before dinner. Overnight in a comfortable private cabin with an en-suite bathroom.

Enjoy the sunrise, the lapping waves, the fresh sea air, the gentle breeze, Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck or get up at your leisure. Depending on the cruise you choose, you’ll explore different parts of the bay—Ha Long, Lan Ha, or Bai Tu Long—all of which are within the Ha Long Bay ecosystem. We transfer to a day boat for the second day’s activities with kayaking and swimming on an islet. In the afternoon, you'll return to the main cruise to relax on the sun deck and enjoy Happy Hour “buy one get one free”. End the day with a spectacular set-menu gastronomic dinner. Overnight on board.

For those early birds, start the day with a proposed Tai Chi session, while tea and coffee are served as the sun rises and illuminates the surrounding seascape. We then continue our exploration of the bay. Upon returning to the boat, check-out of your cabin and enjoy a light brunch while cruising back to the pier. We disembark and met and transferred to Hanoi airport and embark on your flight to Danang. You are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel in the ancient town of Hoi An. Evening at leisure.

Start your day with a nice orientation walk around Hoi An old town. It leads us to the market, where we meet the chef of our upcoming cookery session. He will take us through the colorful stalls and point out the different herbs and spices that shape Vietnamese food’s flavors. We then transfer by boat to a little farm tucked away on an island of the Thu Bon River. Enjoy an hands-on cooking lesson and culinary experience. Dine on the courses you’ve prepared. After that, follow the guide on a digestive walk from the little farm back to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. The walk is about 3,5 kilometers. It can be shortened if you feel tired.

Take a full day at leisure to go explore the lovely ancient port town of Hoi An and do some shopping. If you want to try some typical local food, here are some helpful hints: street food addicts, we highly recommend you to get a Banh Mi sandwich at Madam Khanh’s stall (115 Tran Cao Van street), a legendary Cao Lau soup or a plate of crispy Hoanh Thanh. If you fancy some time on the beach, we recommend An Bang beach, located about 4 kilometers to the North of the town, it is lively with lots of local and international food options.

You are met in the lobby of your hotel for a short transfer to Danang airport for your departure flight. Rooms are available until noon.

1. The above tour prices are based on our current transportation rates. Increasing petrol rates might affect our transportation and boat fees, in which case we reserve the right to revise our current rates. If any increase should arise we will of course keep you well informed.
2. Availability: Please note that if a certain hotel is not available at the time of booking, then we will gladly make alternative suggestions in the same category. We will advise you accordingly with the surcharge if any. As a result, we would highly appreciate it if you could advise us to block rooms soonest possible to guarantee the rooms and rates in period of high and peak season.
3. All the above points of interest are open for visit based on current updates. In case of closure for construction or any other reason, we will replace with a similar point of interest.
