Itinerary
Morning: Arrival at the Laem Chabang Port.
You will be met and warmly welcomed by your tour guide and driver. Your guide will be holding the welcome sign.
We head north to Ayutthaya (transfer time 2.30 – 3 hours depending on traffic), the 2nd capital of Siam, renowned for its past relics and ancient temple ruins.
Arrive in Ayutthaya Historical Park to visit the famous Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, one of the most important historical sites during the Ayutthaya Period. It was the former royal temple, lying inside the grand palace compound.
Nearby, walk to the Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit, a beautifully decorated sanctuary that houses a large bronze cast Buddha image originally enshrined in the open area outside the Grand Palace and later enclosed within a building during the reign of King Songtham.
Visit Wat Mahathat (Temple of the Great Relics): is located almost right in the centre of Ayutthaya City and is a typical temple of the Ayutthaya ruins, a large crumbling Chedi, or Stupa surrounded by low laterite walls and rows of Headless Buddha Images. One Buddha Image-head is in a tree trunk. This is one of the old city's most impressive edifices.
Enjoy a Thai lunch at a local Thai restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Chaiwattanaram Temple, a Buddhist temple in the city of Ayutthaya Historical Park, Thailand, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, outside Ayutthaya island. It is one of Ayutthaya's best-known temples and a major tourist attraction. By noon, we will depart for Laem Chabang Port.
Arrive at Laem Chabang Port 1-1.5 hrs. before departure time. End of services.
