Itinerary

Arrival at the airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy a panoramic city tour will take us through Madrid’s medieval origins, including the Arab fortress and the Barrio de la Moreria, known for its ancient buildings and traditional taverns. We will explore the district of the Hapsburgs, characterized by Phillip II and its Renaissance and Baroque buildings at Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa. We will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban planning of Charles III, including the Royal Palace, the Cibeles Fountain, the Neptune Fountain, and the Puerta de Alcalá. We will admire 19th-century landmarks such as the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum. We will also get to know contemporary Madrid with avenues like Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, the Salamanca neighbourhood, Parque del Oeste, commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Afternoon at your leisure. Accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Salamanca. Free time in this University and World Heritage City of great architectural and artistic wealth. Departure to the Portuguese border until you reach Porto. Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto considered a World Heritage city. We admire the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building and Santa Clara church. Afterwards, enjoy a different perspective of the city along the Douro River and discover the historic heritage by visiting one well-known Port Wine Cellars with a wine tasting included. Rest of day at leisure. Accommodation.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra. The city seat of one of the oldest universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado. Free time. Then to Fatima. Centre of the Christian Faith and World Pilgrimage Sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria, place where the Virgin Mary appeared. The Chapel of the Apparitions, heart of the sanctuary, with the tombs of the three shepherds, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. At night the possibility to attend the procession of the candles. Accommodation.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style considered a World Heritage place by UNESCO. Continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazare. Free time and continue to Alcobaça (World Heritage) with its Gothic church and Cistercian monastery, whose origins date back to the XII C. Then to Lisbon. Arrival in the Portuguese capital and accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a city tour of Lisbon, formerly known as Olissipo, including its main squares and avenues, the Belem Tower, the Jeronimo's Monastery (exterior), the Monument to the Discoverers... The afternoon is free to explore the city’s charming corners, such as the Alfama district, or take the optional excursion to Sintra and Cascais (World Heritage Sites). Accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Merida, the capital of Extremadura. Declared a World Heritage Site, Merida is renowned for its rich historical heritage, including its well-preserved Roman ruins: the theatre, the amphitheatre, the Roman bridge, and more. Free time and then continue to Córdoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Impressive tour of its Mosque and other sites that will ease our mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two hour ride reach Seville. Accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning panoramic city tour visiting the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz quarter (a natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as a precisely where the myth of “Don Juan” developed), Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Afternoon at leisure for you to discover exclusive views, specific flavours of this active full of light city. Accommodation at the hotel. Optional Flamenco show.

After breakfast at the hotel drive south passing typical villages. Reach Ronda; free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvellous view of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon continue to the Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas. Accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel. The day is at your leisure to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol and the surrounding areas or optionally participate in one of our excursions.

Depart along the Costa del Sol tourist route and arrive in Algeciras or Tarifa. Board the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa. Arrive in Tangier, disembark, go through customs, and depart by coach to Meknes. Brief stop and continue to Fez. Free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the oldest and most monumental of the Imperial Cities, exploring the most interesting sites: the 7 doors of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter or Mellah, the Bab Bou Jeloud gate, and a walk through its grand Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast and early departure towards Rabat, the capital of the country. Visit the city's most iconic sites, such as the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca to explore the main attractions, including the United Nations Square, the Corniche Boulevard, and the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. After the visit, enjoy a free lunch on the route and continue to Marrakech. Optionally, you can have a traditional Fantasia Chez Ali dinner under caidal tents. Overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the city, known as the 'Pearl of the South,' starting with the grand Menara Gardens, which features a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Next, visit the exterior of the Koutoubia Minaret, the twin sister of Seville’s Giralda. Once in the old part of the city, tour of the Bahia Palace, once owned by a city noble. Finally, explore Jemaa el-Fna Square, one of Morocco’s most interesting places, from where you can access the souks and the medina. Visit some artisan guilds: woodworkers, potters, leatherworkers, spice merchants, and more. Lunch at the hotel and depart for Casablanca. Arrival, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Tangier. Transfer to the port to board the ferry for the return trip across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain. Continue to the Costa del Sol. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel departure towards the city of Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world-renowned Alhambra complex and Genera life Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sound and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by Washington Irving. Accommodation at the hotel. In the evening, optionally, a Flamenco Zambra show.

Drive northward where it emerges, toward the sky of Castilla and surrounded by the Tagus River, the impressive Imperial city of Toledo –World Heritage City– where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together. Resume of the Spanish art, history and spirituality, the whole town is a National Monument. Short guided tour of this historic old town through its narrow streets. Continue to Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel.

- It is necessary to have the passport data at least 45 days before departure to manage the passage to Morocco.
- It is a mandatory requirement by the Moroccan government that passports have a validity of more than 6 months, including the entire stay in the country.
- Only one piece of luggage per person will be accepted. Passengers must go through customs control with their luggage.
- The itinerary of the part of Morocco can be modified without substantial variations of the services.
