Itinerary

On arrival at Dublin airport, your private driver will be waiting to transfer you to Galway on the west coast. Spend your afternoon at leisure exploring the city. Galway, the gateway to the west coast, is hard to resist with its bohemian charm and friendly locals ready to give you a true Irish welcome. Why not visit one of the shops selling the traditional Claddagh Rings for you to take home or stop for a Guinness in one of the local pubs, where you will most certainly always be greeted with lively trad music as you enter. Overnight in Galway.

Meal Plan: No Meal

Leave the city behind you as you explore one of Irelands most beautiful National Parks, Connemara. Here you will find mountains, woodlands and even traces of historic settlements such as megalithic tombs dating back 4,000 years! Whilst here you will visit Kylemore Abbey, built in the 1800's nestled in the heart of Connemara. During your visit you will learn about the history of the abbey and why it is still home to the Benedictine Nuns, as well as discovering Irelands largest walled garden. Before returning to the city, you'll get the chance to visit Killary Sheep Farm, a traditional working mountain farm where you will get the chance to watch a live sheep dog demonstration learning all about the importance of Sheepdogs. Overnight Galway.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Today with your private driver-guide journey south to explore the world-famous Cliffs of Moher. En-route you will travel through The Burren, a completely contrasting scenery to the rest of Ireland with its vast limestone landscape dotted with caves, fossils and rock formations, it's as if you're on the moon! It's time to go from land to sea, the best way to see the spectacular Cliffs of Moher is by boat. On the boat tour you'll get a chance to really appreciate the scale of the cliffs at over 700 feet high, keep a look out as you may even see Puffins if it's the right season. Overnight Killarney.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Killarney is a small buzzing town and the gateway to the Killarney National Park. Here you will find every type of terrain Ireland has to offer in one spot! The Ring of Kerry is a 179km loop, home to Ireland's tallest mountain, majestic waterfalls, lakes, ancient forests, rolling hills and in the heart of it all - Muckross House & Gardens. The 19th-century mansion, where Queen Victoria stayed as a guest in 1861, is situated in a truly magical setting, overlooking the shores of Muckross Lake. You'll get to experience a traditional Jaunting Car ride, a unique way to explore the grounds and Muckross Abbey before finishing the day. Overnight

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Continuing with your private driver-guide, head east and stop at your first port of call for the day, Cobh. Here you will enjoy a short walking tour of Cobh, the Titanic's last port of call, as you learn about its rich maritime heritage and emigration history. Make a stop at the world-famous Jameson Distillery Midleton, home of the world’s largest pot still. During your distillery tour, you'll learn about the field-to-glass process and have the chance to enjoy three whiskey tastings. All warmed up from the whiskey, your day will finish in the "Marble City" of Kilkenny. This medieval city is packed with colourful characters, a 12th-century castle and is full of charm. Overnight in Kilkenny.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Your private driver-guide will meet you at your hotel this morning for a full-day journey to Dublin through the stunning Wicklow Mountains, known as the "Garden of Ireland." Along the way, stop at Glendalough, a serene valley where St. Kevin founded an early medieval monastery in the 6th century. Surrounded by lakes, forests, and ancient stone ruins, it remains one of Ireland’s most evocative heritage sites. Continue your drive across Wicklow Mountains National Park, with its sweeping views of rugged peaks, boglands, and heather-clad hills, before descending into Dublin, where your day concludes. Overnight in Dublin.
