Upon your arrival at Tocumen International Airport, a French-speaking representative will welcome you and deliver your travel documents, followed by a transfer to the hotel.
The isthmus of Panama, caressed by the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, is much more than a simple bridge between continents. It's a land of adventure and wonders, where every corner holds its share of surprises. Here, the Panama Canal, a true 8th wonder of the world, reigns supreme, testifying to human ingenuity and architectural boldness. But this is just the beginning of your journey.
Beyond the canal, Panama will reveal its most intimate treasures: pristine beaches and dreamy archipelagos await you, offering paradisiacal refuges for unforgettable moments of relaxation. Explore the colonial vestiges that tell the rich and eventful history of the country, or venture into the tropical jungle, where authentic Indian villages open their doors to share their customs and way of life.
Prepare to be dazzled by the diversity and breathtaking beauty of this country with a thousand faces. Your trip to Panama will be much more than a simple getaway; it will be a captivating adventure that will awaken all your senses and leave you with unforgettable memories.

Departure for a panoramic tour of the city and the Causeway.
Meet at the Biomuseo, designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, for a fascinating dive into Panama's biodiversity.
Explore the interactive exhibitions that highlight the country's incredible ecological diversity, from tropical forests to coral reefs and mangroves. Be inspired by scientific discoveries and captivating stories about the evolution of life on Earth, with special emphasis on the unique Panama Canal region.
We will then delve into Panama's rich history as a pivotal city on the Pacific coast during the Spanish colonisation era by visiting the Casco Viejo.
Casco Viejo, also known as Casco Antiguo, is the historic district of Panama City, Panama. Founded in 1673 after the original city was destroyed by pirates, Casco Viejo is a fascinating blend of Spanish colonial architecture, restored buildings, and narrow cobblestone streets.
As you stroll through Casco Viejo, you can admire iconic sites such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the José Church with its famous golden altar, Cathedral Square, France Square, and many others.
Continue to the Miraflores Locks, where you can follow the technical operations from a platform. The Panama Canal is one of the most remarkable technical achievements in modern history, a vital centre for global trade and a symbol of human ingenuity. It constitutes a vital shortcut between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans**, connecting the world's maritime trade routes and influencing economies worldwide.
Several nations and entrepreneurs had explored the idea of a waterway connecting the two great oceans, but it was French engineer Ferdinand de Lesseps who first attempted to build the canal in the late 19th century. Due to a multitude of challenges, including diseases and technical problems, the French efforts failed. The United States then undertook this monumental task starting in 1904. The successful completion of the canal in 1914 testifies to American medical and technical efforts and marked the beginning of a new era in global trade. The Panama Canal is much more than just a waterway; it is a symbol of human history, a cornerstone of global trade, and a testament to the power of engineering and innovation.
