Itinerary
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport (for international or domestic flights) or at the harbor (if arriving by boat/ferry from Dar es Salaam), you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town for rest and overnight.
short break, our guide will meet you to provide a briefing on your stay in Zanzibar and your day-to-day activities during the trip. Zanzibar has a rich history. Once settled by the Portuguese in the 16th and 17th centuries, it grew into a major hub for trade in East Africa. Known as the “Spice Island,” Zanzibar’s wealth came from its spice plantations, followed by the slave and ivory trades. Even today, spice farming thrives, with cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pepper being the island’s most famous exports.

After breakfast, your guide will take you on a Stone Town City Tour, exploring the historic cultural and architectural heritage of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include:- The former slave market site (now home to the Anglican Church built in 1871)
- The local market
- The Zanzibar Memorial Museum
- The House of Wonders (Beit-al-Ajab, built in 1883)
- The Old Arab Fort
- The Palace Museum
- The Old Indian Dispensary (Cultural Centre)
- Maruhubi Palace Ruins
- Dr. Livingstone’s House
In the afternoon (around 2:00 pm), you will set out on a Spice Tour. Experience the scents and flavors of the island as you see, smell, and taste exotic spices, tropical fruits, and medicinal plants grown on local plantations. You will also visit Kidichi Persian Baths, built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (granddaughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia).
Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nungwi, located on the northern tip of Zanzibar, famous for its beautiful beaches that can be enjoyed all year round. Spend the day at leisure, relaxing on soft white sands or enjoying optional activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, or a dolphin safari. In the evening, unwind in your sea-facing room and fall asleep to the soothing sound of the Indian Ocean.

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day snorkeling trip to Mnemba Island, one of Zanzibar’s most famous marine reserves. The Mnemba reef is home to diverse and colorful marine life, offering some of the best snorkeling in East Africa. With an 85% chance of spotting dolphins during your boat ride, you’ll have the opportunity to watch them swim in the open ocean and capture unforgettable photos.
After snorkeling, you may also visit the nearby sandbank (depending on tides) for some relaxation. Mnemba is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral gardens, where you might spot angel fish, blue-spotted rays, groupers, octopus, scorpion fish, and many more.
In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise or relax at your hotel restaurant with stunning ocean views.

After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you may enjoy a few final hours at the beach or a short local tour. Later, return to the hotel to pack your belongings before being transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight or continue on to your next safari destination.
