Meal Plan: No Meal

Today morning is dedicated to the discovery of Angkor masterpiece. To travel around the temples complex, no better meaning than a good local tuk-tuk . Let's explore Angkor Wat , easily the most famous and best-preserved of all temples within the Angkor complex. It is a massive three-tiered structure crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. We also see the Ta Prohm Temple , unlike most other Angkor temples, has been left just it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of trees growing out of temple ruins amid jungle surroundings, making it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors. Enjoy a nice lunch in local restaurant near Srah Srang.

In the afternoon we visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom , surrounded by an 8m high wall. Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire during the reign of Jayavarman VII. We continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur, its exterior gallery walls featuring extensive, superb bas-reliefs, particularly the East and South Galleries. The trip to Bakheng Temple will reward you with a spectacular sunset over the Angkor Archaeological Park and its surroundings.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast at hotel. The day is free for your own arrangement. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Easy morning, we hit the road after breakfast for an about 3-hour journey to Battambang, a rich agricultural province considered as the bowl of rice of Cambodia. Arrive Battambang, check in hotel, free at leisure. Overnight in Battambang.

Optional service: Public boat to Battambang
Transfer by boat from Siem Reap to Battambang across the Tonle Sap lake. The ride takes you across beautiful sceneries, it lasts about 6 hours during the high waters season, 9 hours when waters are low.

Note: In wet season (August to November) the boat trip takes around 7-9 hours but in dry season (December to July) the trip could take around 10-12 hours and may be cancelled due to low water level.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

This morning we first head for a visit to the local market. This will give you an overview of the large array of products cultivated across the province. The rest of the morning will see you ride a bamboo platform train , quite fun activity, and give you a pre-taste of Angkorian temples at Wat Ek Phnom temple. In the afternoon, we go visit the one and only vineyard and winery of Cambodia before ending on the heights of Phnom Sampeau mount to enjoy a scenic view over the countryside. We are back at the hotel in the afternoon. End of the day at leisure.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Today we drive to Phnom Penh, It is an approximate 5-hour drive from Battambang to reach Phnom Penh. En route we stop around the Pursat province. A first time to embark on the Tonle Sap lake and explore Kompong Luong Floating Village. A second time to visit the potters of the region and discover their incredible talent at making ceramic products in Kampong Chhnang. We arrive in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Meal Plan: Breakfast

Today, let's discover the classics of Phnom Penh and go beyond to unveil some lesser known corners of the city. We start in the morning with the visit of the National Museum and the silver Pagoda / Royal Palace (please note that long pants and slits are required). We then head to the central market, explore its colorful stalls and taste several of the numerous street food dishes offered around. An insightful way to have lunch and to live a slice of pure local life. In the afternoon we go visit the Genocide Museum. A very interesting visit, that can be heartbreaking somehow, but that allows to better understand contemporary Cambodia and to keep us aware of how horrible and inhumane the past can be. To chill out and decompress, we suggest ending the day in style with a nice walk along the Mekong and a cocktail at Le Moon rooftop lounge with a scenic view over the River. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch

Morning at leisure until the driver picks you up and drives you to Cardamom Mountains. You are welcomed upon arrival and transferred to the heart of the wild Cardamom Mountains. It is an approximate 4 hours drive to the North and the lands of the Trapeang Rung's community. Freshen up at the lodge's lounge before embarking for the hour's trip over the Preak Tachan River to the hidden Cardamom Tented Camp. Make yourself comfortable into your private safari-style tent. The remaining time of the day, you may follow the guide on an exploratory hike in the jungle around the camp. The diversity of the fauna will amaze you.

Later on, chill at the riverside restaurant as the sun sets over Botum Sakor. Dinner and overnight at Cardamom Tented Camp.

Meal Plan: Breakfast and Dinner

After an early breakfast, Wildlife Alliance Rangers will meet us and together with an English speaking guide embark on patrol over a network of abandoned poaching and logging trails through the dense forest. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, like Macaque, Gibbon or Hornbill. The half day trip will stop by the Ranger Station, where confiscated snares, traps and improvised hunting rifles are on display. After taking lunch at the station, use one of the kayaks, or hike back to the camp.
