Itinerary
This morning you will drive through the eastern part of Guatemala, via the states of El Progreso and Zacapa to arrive at the archaeological site of Quirigua. Some of the most interesting and beautiful Mayan stellae are found at Quirigua in the state of Izabal. You will continue to the border with Honduras, after immigration formalities, you will drive to Copan for overnight accommodations.
Meal Plan: No Meal
After breakfast, you will visit the archaeological site of Copan, one of the most fascinating Mayan ruin sites. You will be allowed to explore and marvel at the beautiful stellae and majestic temples, including a complete ball court. In the afternoon, you will return to Guatemala City.

All rates are valid from January 1st through December 31st, 2026, except during Holy Week (March 28th thru April 5th, 2026) and New Year’s (December 25th, 2025 thru January 02nd, 2026 and/or December 25th, 2026 thru January 02nd, 2027) where hotels in Antigua, Copan, Lake Atitlan, Petén Area, Puerto Barrios, Livingston and Rio Dulce area have a 100% increase and a minimum stay of four nights.
