Standing approximately 2.100 meters above sea level, Mount Pilatus is one of the highest peaks in the Lucerne region. From Kriens ascend in an alpine gondola and funicular to the summit. Enjoy the spectacular views of the alpine landscape in winter! Return to Lucerne and free time.
The Golden Pass Line travels in approximately two hours from Lucerne to Interlaken. Nestled between Thun Lake and Brienz Lake, Interlaken is a pleasant city that makes the perfect starting point for exploring the nearby mountains, including world famous peaks such as Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city.
Travel to the top of Europe! Jungfraujoch offers a year-round winter wonderland of snow and ice. Disembark at the highest
train station in Europe, at an elevation of 3.454 m. Built in 1912, the train travels approx. 9 kilometers high up in the mountains, crossing a tunnel through Mount Eiger. Upon arrival admire the breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier and the Bernese Oberland (Highland).
Leave the Alpine landscape of the Bernese Oberland behind you and travel by Golden Pass line to the Swiss Riviera. The city of Montreux is world renowned for its jazz festival and its beautiful setting on Lake Geneva. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Montreux pleasant lakeside boulevard.
The morning is free to spend at your leisure. Return to Zurich by train.
