Detailed Itinerary

Individual transfer by Fly bus shuttle bus from Keflavik airport to your accommodation in Reykjavik. You may explore Iceland’s capital city on your own if time allows.

Meal: No Meal

We begin the tour in the hotel lobby, where you will meet your guide at 09:00. Your guide will show you the highlights of Iceland’s exciting capital. Afterwards, we will head to the Reykjanes Peninsula, with its moonlike landscape, hot springs, and mountains. We will end the sightseeing at the famous Blue Lagoon for some relaxation.

Relax in the warm, mineral-rich waters of the Blue Lagoon and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding lava fields. Then, we will continue our journey south to the charming village of Hella. We will settle in there and stay for the next two nights. This peaceful village offers a perfect base for exploring the natural beauty of South Iceland.

Meal: Breakfast

We begin the day at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Make sure you have waterproof clothing as you can walk behind the falls.

Afterwards, we will drive along the scenic route to Skógar. There, you can explore the Skógar Folk Museum and discover early modern Iceland through its turf houses and folklore. Then, we are off to visit the majestic Skógafoss waterfall.

Here, you have the option to book a glacier hike on the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue. This adventure includes a guided walk on the glacier. This is where you will see stunning ice formations, deep crevasses, and a unique landscape shaped by the glacier’s movements.
The price per person is 120 EUR (subject to availability). The tour lasts 3 hours in total, with 1-1.5 hours spent on the ice, providing ample time to explore this icy wonderland.

If you choose not to participate in the glacier hike, the tour will continue south to the famous Reynisfjara black sand beach. You might also see the Cap of Dyrhólaey and the Reynisdrangar Sea Cliffs. Afterwards, we will visit the village of Vík before heading back to our hotel in the town of Hella.

Meal: Breakfast

On this last day, we will drive the famous Golden Circle route, starting with a stop at a geothermal greenhouse and horse stable. Here, you will learn about the Icelandic horse and its history.

Our second stop of the day is Geysir, where you can witness Strokkur, also known as “the Churn,” erupt every 5-7 minutes. Although the original geyser is dormant, you can still walk up to it. Just a bit further along the route is Gullfoss, or “the Golden Falls,” a truly breathtaking sight.

We will wrap up the day with a visit to Þingvellir, one of Iceland’s National Parks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is the home of the world’s oldest parliament. Here, you can witness the dramatic rift caused by the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia beneath the park. The lava fields here tell countless stories of the past, steeped in history.
