Detailed Itinerary

Arrive to Tashkent airport, meet and greet service. Transfer to Tashkent hotel, early check-in on arrival. City tour along the old part of Tashkent: Khazrati Imam Complex consisting of Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (15th c.), Barak-Khan Madrasah (16th c.), Muyi-Mubarak Mosque - storehouse of the well-known Koran of Khalif Osman and gold hair of Prophet Muhammad, Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, History of Uzbekistan Museum. Independence Square, Amir Temur Statue, Alisher Navoi Theatre Square, Tashkent Metro (Underground). Night at the hotel.

Breakfast-box to be taken from the hotel. Transfer to Tashkent Domestic Airport. Registration and flight from Tashkent to Nukus. Arrival Nukus. Meeting at the airport and direct drive towards Muynak (200 km, 2.5 hrs.). En-route visit to Mizdakhan Necropolis of the 14th century. There is a unique mausoleum of Shamun-Nabi at Mizdakhan which is translated from Farsi as Messenger of God, place of pilgrimage. This is 25 meters long mausoleum where magician and hero Shamun is buried. The mausoleum was built according to rules of all four religions. Pass via Kungrad district, which used to be one of the trading centres on the Silk Road. On arrival to Muynak have an excursion around to see a former port with abandoned ships in the sand – “Cemetery of ships”. Drive back to Nukus. Stop at the Lake Sudochie. Continue driving. En-route stops to take pictures of beautiful canyons. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in (from 14:00) and time for freshen up. Night at the hotel.

Morning visit to the Museum of Arts named after Savitskiy. As recognized by experts and world mass media, this Museum has one of the top art collections in Central Asia and the second biggest and most significant collection of Russian Avant-garde in the world. Further drive around Nukus to visit to the Statue of Berdakh, Nukus City Hall and Drama Theatre.

Afternoon drive to Khiva (200 km, 3 hrs.). En-route visits to the ruins of the ancient fortresses Shylpyk-Kala – a Zoroastrian dakhma, and Toprak-Kala – the capital of Khorezm in 3rd c. AD. On arrival to Khiva, transfer to the hotel and check-in (from 14:00). Time for rest.

Breakfast at the hotel. City tour: Ichan-Kala architectural complex (XII-XIX), the Residence of the last Khiva Khan including Ismail Khodja Mausoleum, Muhammed Amin Khan Madrassah, Kunya-Ark Castle (XVI-XVI), Kalta Minor Tower, Tash-Hovli Palace (XIX), Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum(XIV-XVIII), Juma Mosque (X) and other Khiva tourist sights. Night at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. In old days, route from Khiva to Bukhara lasted more than a month. Today it takes 6-7 hours by vehicle, through mysterious red desert “Kyzyl-Kum”, the territory of “Khorezm”, which was called in the past as a “State of Thousand and Hundred Cities”. What kind of secrets are buried in this desert, this is something what archeologists and historians will be trying to find in the future. Meanwhile, you are invited to view the exotic landscapes of desert with old Amudarya River (Oxus). Photo stop at Amudarya river. Arrival to Bukhara, check-in to the hotel. Night at the hotel.

When you hear “Splendor of East” – it is Bukhara! City tour in Bukhara: Ismael Samani Mausoleum (the tomb of representatives of Samanids’ dinasty at the end of IX - beginning of X), Chashma Ayub Mausoleum (Spring of Job - XIV), Bolo-Hauz Mosque (beginning of XX), Citadel Ark (IV) – city in a city, Poi Kalon Ensemble (Pedestal of the Great), religious heart of Sacred Bukhara, consists of Minaret Kalon (XII), Kalyan Mosque (XII), Miri Arab Madrassah (XVI), Ulugbek’s Madrassah (1417), Madrassah Nodir Divanbeghi, Abdul Aziz Khan Madrassah, Magoki-Attori Mosque (dated XII-XVI centuries), Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble (dated XIV-XVII centuries), Kosh-Madrassah Ensemble (consisting of two resisting Madari-Abdullakhan Madrassah (Abdullakhan’s mother) and Abdullakhan Madrassah. Chor-Minor (four minarets). Free time: we advise you to visit Bukhara Dome Bazaars (dated 15-16 centuries): Toki Saraffon (the Dome of Moneychangers), Toki-Telpak Furushon (the Dome of Cap makers), Toki Zargaron (the Dome of jewellers) and Tim Abdullakhan (the Center of silk). Night at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Samarkand. On arrival transfer to the hotel, check-in (from 14:00). Samarkand tour: Registan Square - Madrassah Ulug Bek (XV), Madrassah Shir-Dor (XVII), Madrassah Tillya-Kori (XVII), Bibi Khanum Mosque (XIV-XV), Architectural Complex Shakh-i-Zinda (dated XI-XV century). Night at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to Siab bazaar. Mausoleum Guri Emir - Tamerlane's Tomb (XIV-XV), Proceed further to Ulugbek Observatory (XV), excavations and Museum of ancient city of Afrosiab. Transfer to Samarkand Railway Station. Train to Tashkent. On arrival meet your driver and transfer to the Tashkent hotel. Night at the hotel.

Morning drive towards Chimgan Mountains (90 km, 1.5 hrs.). On arrival, time to enjoy chair-cable car lift to reach on the top. Time for photo shooting and nature view. Take chair-cable car to come down. Drive to the shores of Charvak Lake. Enjoy the scenery and if a season permits try some of water activities catamaran-riding, Quadra-cycles, Paragliding, Horse-back riding and etc. (at your own cost). Drive back to Tashkent by later afternoon and time for rest.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tashkent International Airport. Flight to the next destination.
