Climate

Panama lies close to the equator so its temperature does not change much. It is usually high ranging between 24 °C and 29 °C. Rainy season is between May and November while summers last from December to mid March.

Places to Visit
Panama City

It is a beautiful blend of modernity and colonial world charm. On one hand high rises, swanky cars and manicured lawns dot the city while on the other hand, cobble-stoned streets, colonial buildings and monuments take you back in time. Some of the must-sees in the city are Casco Viejo, the Panama Canal, Teatro Nacinol and Panama Viejo.


Bocas del Toro Town

The small town of Bocas del Toro Town is the starting point of exploring the archipelago of six forested islands and many uninhabited islets. In this quaint town lie both natural beauty untouched by civilization and historic Carribean architecture. The sandy beaches offer many water-sport activities too along with a chance to see some of the most exotic birds and animals.


San Blas Islands

This is an archipelago of about 400 islands in the north coast of the Panama Isthmus. A popular tourist destination, people visit it due to unspoiled beauty and a chance to experience local traditions, customs and some delectable cuisine.


Boquete

Located along the western front of the country, Boquete is nestled amid beautiful mountain ranges that go up to Costa Rica. It offers many adventure activities like zip line and whitewater river rafting, giving a spectacular travel experience. Gulf of Chiriqui- located along Panama’s Pacific coast , Gulf of Chiriqui has some of the largest coral reefs in the Pacific and also one of the richest mangrove forests in Central America. It also boasts of the largest island in the country- Coiba with varied water-sport activities like sport fishing, surfing, boating and scuba diving.

Electricity: While traveling to Panama it is advisable to carry an international power plug adapter. The standard voltage is at 110V/50Hz. It has same outlets as seen in America.
