The 3.5 – 4 hour food tour will reveal the Manchester food and drink scene past and present. We will offer eight tastings across the city (which adds up to a huge meal, come hungry!) and take you to some of our favourite local haunts.
One of the best ways to learn about a city is through its food and drink. The tour will reveal fascinating facts about Manchester and England’s food history, touch on food science and take in some magnificent local food along the way. We will explore the food and drink stories of the city from the ice cream vendors of Ancoat’s Little Italy and the diet of the Victorian mill worker to the birth of vegetarianism. We want to feed your brain and your belly!
