Hop in the pick-up and get wild in the south of Mauritius…
The south of Mauritius is known for its beautiful and wild coastal region. On today’s program, we’ll get to witness the beauty of nature through different locations on the southern coast. Let’s begin our journey with a visit of Pont Naturel, Natural Bridge in English, formed by the powerful waves crashing with the rocky cliff.
Next up, Le Souffleur, located near the village of l’Escalier. Le Souffleur is a geyser-like fountain, made from rough waves fiercely smashing the rocks underneath. Continuing with the jaw-dropping beauty of the coastal region, we’ll stop at GrisGris offering a superb panorama when the waves crash against the coastline with ferocious intensity.
Moving away from the cliffs, our next stop will be Rochester Falls, a magnificent waterfall set in a wild and lush landscape, before moving to Andrea Lodge for lunch with a view. To end with a spectacular view, we’ll shall take the coastal road until we reach Chamarel to visit Ebony Forest and its Sublime point offering a awe-inspiring panoramic view over Ile aux Bénitiers and the South-West coast of Mauritius…
