now one of the world’s most progressive capitals. Its skyscrapers and modern culture hide away historic buildings and
interesting past, while visitors flock to enjoy the lifestyle it has to offer. There is so much to do, you may go dizzy with
excitement. Enjoy time shopping, dining in fine restaurants, watching the arts and touring those iconic landmarks.

Detailed Itinerary

Today you arrive in Kuala Lumpur, one of Asia’s most cosmopolitan and dynamic cities. Transfer to your chosen hotel, your home for three nights. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Meal: No Meals

Heritage, history and culture await you on this panoramic tour that spotlights the city’s most celebrated landmarks and get to know each of these magnificent sites up close. See places like the gate of the king's palace, national mosque, national monument and cenotaph, independence square and the famous Petronas Twin Towers, which provides great photo opportunities.

Step back in time with a visit to the national museum, a fascinating centre dedicated to Malaysian history and culture.

Later, explore local crafts at the handicraft centre and make a stop at a favourite local chocolate boutique for an opportunity to learn, sample and buy some of its finest products. This afternoon, you are free to explore the city at your own pace.

Meal: Breakfast

Depart for Melaka this morning, Malaysia’s oldest town. The Portuguese, Dutch and British ruled over Melaka's silk and spice trade for centuries and these invaders have left an unparalleled legacy of historical relics and monuments, reflected most strongly in its town. The beauty of the town has now been recognised and it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2008.

Relive history as you walk through the city’s historic buildings including the Stadthuys, St. Paul’s Church and the mighty
fortress - Porta de Santiago, built by the Portuguese in 1512. Then, have time to stroll along the Jonker Street, known for its antiques, souvenirs, arts and crafts.

Your tour comes to a close, leaving you with many pleasant memories of a wonderful holiday. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

TOURIST TAX
Tourist taxes are becoming more and more common in a number of holiday destinations today. It is a small fee that is usually collected by the hotels upon check-in or check-out. The cost of tourist tax can vary by destination. Currently, the Malaysian Government has reinstated the Tourism Tax (TTX) of AUD 44.00/room/night for all foreign passport holders
for hotel stays effective from 1st January 2023. Please note that tax is inflationary, therefore charges are subject to change anytime.
