Overview
We’ll see the Frauenkirche, Munich’s twin-spired Cathedral, spend a little time exploring Marienplatz, the city’s central square and continue to the Munich Residence, which once served as the seat of government and residence of the Bavarian dukes. Continuing we will see Innsbruck cathedral also the Imperial Palace of Innsbruck. Admire the the Krimml Waterfalls, Europe’s highest waterfalls.

Detailed Itinerary

Arrival at Munich airport and transfer to your hotel. In the Evening we enjoy a typical Bavarian welcome dinner. Accommodation in Munich.

After breakfast we start with the city tour of Munich City Center and the historic area. We’ll see the Frauenkirche, Munich’s twin-spired Cathedral, spend a little time exploring Marienplatz, the city’s central square and continue to the Munich Residence, which once served as the seat of government and residence of the Bavarian dukes. Our final stop will be at the Nymphenburg Palace, situated on the west side of the city. Afternoon at Leisure. Accommodation in Munich.

After breakfast we drive through the country towns on the way to the castle of the mad King Ludwig at Neuschwanstein near the small town of Füssen. Probably the most famous castle in the world, it was the inspiration for Disney’s Magic Kingdom castle. We arrive at Neuschwanstein, climb up the trail for a tour of the castle. Lunch is on your own after our tour of the castle. In the afternoon we drive back to Munich passing by Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Plays and lovely crafts.

After breakfast our journey continues towards Innsbruck. Our first stop is just a few km East of Innsbruck, in the tiny and charming city of Hall in Tyrol. After the guided tour of the medieval Old Town, where you can admire beautiful old churches and an impressive defense tower, the excursions continues to the famous Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens. We’ll take this chance to admire the “Home of the Giant” and all the precious items housed in the 17 chambers of wonder and the renowned poetic garden, with the Crystal Cloud made from 800,000 floating crystals. After having feasted our eyes on a lots of crystals, we finally reach Innsbruck. Check-in in your hotel. In the evening we will have a typical Tirolese dinner.

Breakfast and city tour of Innsbruck, the capital of the Alps. The visit starts with a walk through the old town of Innsbruck where you will see the emblem called “golden roof”, the cathedral and the buildings of the old town. The Imperial Palace of Innsbruck, the Hofburg, originally built by archduke Sigmund the Rich, is one of the three major historic-cultural monuments in Austria. Our walk continues to the Triumphal Arch and just a short drive away, we’ll reach the Ambras Castle on the nearby hill. Afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast our journey continues towards Salzburg. Our first stop is Krimml Waterfalls, a miracle of Nature. With a total height of 380 m across three cascades, the Krimml Waterfalls are Europe’s highest waterfalls. In the afternoon we leave for Salzburg.

Breakfast and city tour of Salzburg, birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. First we visit Mirabell Gardens, which is one of the Sound of Music sites and continue to the Old City (Altstadt). This is a very compact area between the jutting outcrop of the Moenchsberg and the Salzach River. The final highlight of today is the visit of Hellbrunn Palace with its famous fountains. Overnight in Salzburg.

After an early breakfast at the hotel and check-out, we depart for Vienna through the beautiful Austrian countryside and the most popular lake region of the Salzkammergut., We’ll stop along the way for a tour of the little town of Bad Ischl in Upper Austria, the former summer capital of the great Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. We’ll visit the Imperial Villa in Bad Ischl, with its originally preserved rooms in which Empress “Sisi” Elisabeth and Emperor Franz Joseph spent the summer months.

Breakfast and city tour, which will give you an overall impression of the most significant sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show you numerous magnificent buildings, such as the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the Museums Quartier, the former Habsburg winter residence (Hofburg), the Parliament, the City Hall and the National Theatre. The highlight of this tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. During this visit we will get the chance to participate in the Strudelshow: Here a professional pastry chef demonstrates how to hand-bake the original Viennese apple strudel at the Schönbrunn Palace’s Café Residenz.
Afternoon at leisure.

Breakfast and full day excursion to the most beautiful part of the Danube valley. Trip to Melk (interior visit of the baroque Benedictine abbey). An unforgettable trip through the romantic Danube Valley with its vineyards and ruins. We will visit the charming town of Krems and the medieval village of Dürnstein. Hightlight of this tour is a boat trip including lunch on the Danube. Accommodation in Vienna
