This tour provides an overview of Santiago de Chile and does not include time to stop and enter museums or attractions that you will see while exploring the city.

The tour begins with a visit to the historic city centre, whit the central plaza as a highlight (Plaza de Armas), kilometre zero and crucial centre of the capital, where the construction of Santiago began during the colonial era, with old buildings, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, a beautiful building that combines Bavarian and neoclassical styles of that time. In this context, a tour through the civic district, with the ministerial building surrounding the government’s house, the Palacio de la Moneda, a silent witness of the most relevant event in our republican history. To conclude the historical area, a tour by the old and stately neighbourhoods of the old “high society”, a place full of an exquisite architectonic variety brought by immigrants, mainly European, in a time of great mining exploitation and high-born families. Later, a magnificent panoramic view from one of our hills in the city, where it is possible to appreciate a part of the mountain-chain slopes that surround the city to, afterward, go to the western area to see the great architectonic contrast. A thriving and contemporary city that proves its best with impressive buildings of daring architectonic styles that represent a seal of modernity to this big city.

San Pedro de Atacama is considered the archaeological capital of Chile and the centre of the Atacama culture.

Being immersed in one of the driest places in the world, and surrounded by colours, flavours, textures and a deep silence that invites introspection. We want you to feel at home despite the distance. Moon Valley & Death Valley Half Day Tour Regular Service (Shared) | English Guided Tour | Duration: Half-Day Tour (4 hs) | Vehicle: Up to 15 seats | Driver-guide assistance | Meals not included.

The Moon Valley is an interesting area with stone and sand formations. Declared Sanctuary of Nature and part of the Flamingo National Reserve. Located inside the Cordillera de la Sal, 13 kilometres west of San Pedro de Atacama, the valley receives his name thanks to the great similarity with the lunar landscapes. There is no life in this valley and no humidity, making it the most inhospitable place on the planet. You cannot miss the sunsets, they are unforgettable. While the sun is setting, it colours the edges of the hills and gorges, while the wind blows between rocks and the sky changes from a pink colour to purple and finally to black. Without a doubt, it is one of the main attractions of San Pedro de Atacama, visited by hundreds of tourists year after year. They are impressed by its singular and unique beauty, incomparable with any place.

Visit to the Altiplanic Towns Regular Service (Shared) | Vehicle & bilingual guide assistance| Duration: Full day tour (9 to 10 hrs.) | Lunch and tickets included (Pukará de Lasana, Caspana Museums, Inca’s Lagoon). Available all year.

We start the day with a trip to Chiu-Chiu Town located at 33km from Calama. It was founded by the Spaniards in their quest for conquest and inside the town, it is Saint Francis’ Church, declared a national monument. Inside, there is a portrait of Christ painted for both sides and a crucifix with both folding arms to be transported during precessions. It is a desert-like town, silent and old. At a 9 kilometres distance, above a cliff, the Pukará de Lasana shows. A fortification that dates of the year 1100. It is one of the best-preserved legacies of the "Atacameño" people. Made of stone with little streets and 110 buildings, its destruction is related to the arrival of the Spaniards. There is a museum available. We also visit the Inca Coya Lagoon, 5 kilometres away from the town, an old ceremonial place for the Incas. Walking along the Salado River we reach Caspana, 47 kilometres from Chiu Chiu and 3,200 meters of altitude. With 400 inhabitants, it is located in a small valley near a river, important thanks to its beautiful stone houses carved in stone and its roofs made of straw and mud. A style that also possesses the church from 1641 and the footpath bridge built for the community; through it, one can access the ethnographic museum that has an exhibition of the old inhabitants of the town. When it’s open, you can see the archaeological collections of the place called “The Grandfathers Graveyard”. It is an ethnographic display of the old inhabitants. The Argentine Northwest (Noroeste Argentino) is a region of Argentina composed by the provinces of Catamarca, Jujuy, La Rioja, Salta, Santiago del Estero, and Tucumán. This area is still very much a hidden treasure of Argentina. The charm and the character of this area lies in the culture and folklore of its people, in the architecture of its small towns, in the traditions and customs present in its markets, its food, its music and its religious festivities. A mix of Pre-Columbian civilizations (it was the southernmost outpost of the Inca Empire) and Spanish colonial past (the city of Salta, the gateway city to visit this area, is the best preserved Spanish colonial city in Argentina). The landscapes are breath-taking, with the Andes as background. Deserts, cactus, high altitude salt lakes, llamas crossing the Puna. An incredible variety of colours, climates, activities, that never leaves you indifferent.

Your first visit will be to Tempus Alba, a boutique winery that has limited Tof fine wines. Straight after, our next tasting takes place at Lagarde Winery. With the first vine planted in 1897, Lagarde is one of the oldest wineries in the Mendoza region with Malbec vines over 100 years old. With only two owning families in its history, Lagarde was acquired by the Pescarmona family in 1969.

The last winery we visit a family-owned winery Clos de Chacras it is set in one of the original concrete tanks stylistically redesigned using old oak and barrel bands. Nowadays, all of the wine that Clos de Chacras produces is fermented in concrete tanks that have been upgraded with new technology. The capacity of each does not exceed 14.000 litres. Aging takes place in French and American oak barrels located in an underground cellar. Then, after bottling, the wine is stored for a few months or even years... Here we will have lunch at their cosy restaurant. To create the menu, our chef carefully selects each ingredient. Therefore, the menu includes different elements such as vegetables in season, dried fruits, olive oil, red and white meat, seafood, and other artisan ingredients produced in Mendoza. The restaurant offers a three-course menu paired with our wines. We will enjoy the rest of the afternoon in an olive oil factory in which we learn about the process of olive oil making, together with other deli foods to try (olive paté and sundried tomatoes on homemade bread).
