After breakfast at the Hotel. Start the day with an Accra city tour through to the Arts Centre for National Culture, the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum.
After lunch at the National Museum, we set off for the Central region through Anomabo with overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the Hotel . Visit the Cape Coast Castle a fortress that was built by the Swedes in 1653, seizedby the Danes and later conquered by the British.
Also visit the Elmina Castle built in 1482 by the Portuguese, they are the best-preserved castles in Ghana anddeclared as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Both castles are located in thriving fishing ports where hundreds of huge wooden fishing canoes are anchored. Also visit the Asafo Companies and the Elmina fish market. Have dinner followed by a cultural performance. Over night stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel visit the Kakum National Park comprising undisturbed virgin rainforest for awalking tour on the canopy walkway, also the longest and highest of its kindin the West Africa.
The forest provides an opportunity to see much of Ghana’ sindigenous plant life, as well as rare butterflies, birds and other forms of wildlife. We stop over at Hans Botel, a resort partly built on stilts on a river with crocodiles, lots of bird life and monkeys.
Set off for Kumasi, where we first visit the world famous Black and White Power Shrine of the master priest Nana Abbas to observe activities in preparation for the upcoming Akwasidae. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel start the day with a visit to the Manhyiah Palace seat of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Join in the Akwasidae celebration - a gathering of Chiefs and people of the Asanteman. Group can meet and greet the Asantehene and make a presentation of Schnapps.
Continue with a visit to the craft villages of Ahwiaa (wood carving) and Ntonso (Adinkra), to see traditional craftsmen apply their skills and talents. Also visit the Lake Bosomtwi, a crater lake believed to have been created by a fallen meteorite. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel set off for the Northern Region in the early morning with a stopover at the Kintampo Waterfalls.
En route, we also visit the Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, where Mona and black and white Colobus monkeys are considered to be a significant part of the community. Also visit the Tano Boase Rock formation, which exhibits a variety of huge beautiful hanging and hollow rocks.
Explore the sacred groves and caves, where villagers sought refuge during slave raids and tribal wars. A hike along the trails to spot antelopes, baboons and monkeys.
Continue trip northwards to Tamale with stops at mud villages along the route. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel visit one of the six witch camps in the Tamale, where mostly women, accused of practicing witch craft are sent to live a life in exile.
Set off for Togo. En routewe visit some settlements of Dagomba and Konkomba tribes. Also meet Bassar people on the way to Togo through Yendi. Cross the border at Tatali into Togo. Continue to Kara. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel visit the Tamberma-Valley with its beautiful "Tata" (miniature fortified castles built with clay). Also visit the handicraft centers of "Lossosoukala" and Kodhani. In the evening there is a chance to witness the fire dance at the village. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Cross the border through Togo into Benin.
Experience the wild beauty of this northern territory including some ancient caves. Start the day with a visit to the Pendjari National Park, one of West Africa’s surviving tropical savannas.
Take a walk through this forest to, where you have a good chance of spotting elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, warthogs, monkeys, antelopes and other exotic wildlife. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Set off to tour some of the Tata Somba miniature villages, located to the southwest in the plains of Boukoumbe.
Visit the Natitingou Museum for an interesting overview of the Somba culture, retracing the history and heritage of the Atacora civilization.

After breakfast at the hotel leave Bohicon through Abomey, the birthplace of voodoo to visit the Royal Palace Museum.
The day of spectacular sightseeing continues as we visit Ganvie, described as the ‘Venice of Africa’, with 25,000 inhabitants living in houses on stilts above the water since the 17th century.
Enjoy a possible cruiseon Lake Nokoue to visit the water villages.
Continue with a city tour to include visits to the Sacred Forest (once the private residence of the first King of Ouidah) and the Temple of the Pythons, both important voodoo shrines.
By the main square, we find the imposing cathedral and the old colonial quarter. Nearby the Portuguese Fort now houses the History Museum. The exhibits focus on the slave trade and Benin consequent cultural links with Brazil and the Caribbean. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Enjoy a tour of the city, which includes the Place deindependence and the National Museum. Observe sacred voodoo shrinesside by side with the city’s Roman Catholic Cathedral.

Cross the border into Ghana. Overnight stay at the hotel.
