Itinerary

A warm greeting from your driver on arrival at Edinburgh airport before your private transfer to your hotel in Glasgow for check in. Once settled in, spend the afternoon exploring this fine city on foot as our expert guide makes sure you see all of the top landmarks such as George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, Necropolis and Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum. Finish up at the incredible Mackintosh House, home to one of the most important collections of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the Scottish architect, designer, and artist. Overnight in Glasgow.

Meal Plan: No Meal

Leave the city behind and take the train from Glasgow to Inverness, capital of the Scottish Highlands. While on board enjoy the magnificent views and dramatic scenery. A private transfer will be waiting for you at the train station to take you to your hotel to check-in before you join your shared tour to visit the home of 'Nessie' - Loch Ness! Enjoy a shared cruise on the loch and learn more about the Loch Ness wildlife including of course the mythical monster. Make sure you have your camera close at hand in case Nessie decides to visit before the short transfer back to Inverness.

Join your small group shared tour for a full-day tour around the idyllic Isle of Skye. Christened by the Vikings as 'The Misty Isle'. Skye is known for its rugged landscape, medieval castles and picturesque fishing villages. The magical and beautiful scenery of this island has enchanted movie makers and poets from all around the world. Soak up the local atmosphere and make sure you save some time for a pub meal and ale in one of Portree’s quaint pubs. Overnight in Inverness.

After taking your private transfer to Inverness train station, continue your tour with a picturesque train ride from Inverness to Edinburgh. The route runs through a landscape of sparkling rivers, lush valleys and forests. Once you arrive in Edinburgh, spend your afternoon along with other guests, on a food walking tour to taste the very best of Scottish cuisine with a local guide. This is your chance to taste the authentic classics like haggis, neeps and tatties washed down with a dram of whisky! Overnight in Edinburgh.

Meet your local driver guide for a private full day tour to the Scottish Borders. You will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hadrian's Wall built by the Romans in 122 A.D. Along with many quaint Scottish Border towns such as Hawick and Jedburgh a former royal borough and market town, an enjoyable day spent exploring one of the most historically important parts of Britain. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Take a final walk and capture your farewell photos of the Scottish capital. Then it's a fond farewell and your private transfer will be ready when you are to take you to Edinburgh airport for your return flight.
