Itinerary
Transfer from the airport to the hotel in La Paz. La Paz Airport is located at 25 minutes from any downtown hotel. Includes: Transportation, bilingual guide assistance and porterage tip at the airport. Half-day City Tour of La Paz and Cable car tour - PM La Paz and the surrounding transport the visitor to a mysterious past, where the adventure begins in every corner, in every street; a living history that holds the pre-Hispanic times with all its traditions and magic rituals scattered everywhere. Indigenous, colonial and contemporary neighborhoods; Indian markets, the Witches Market and extraordinary landscapes, surrounded by the majesty of snow "Illimani". It also includes a cable car ride from one end to another of La Paz. Overnight at a local hotel.
Meal Plan: No Meal
Overland journey from La Paz to Huatajata or Cocotoni, at the shores of Lake Titicaca; on arrival, board the Hydrofoil to start the cruise. Visit Sun Island, to visit the Pilcocaina Sun Temple. Enjoy a “llama” trek to the Lodge. Lunch upon arrival; the afternoon is at leisure to explore the bucolic surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the cozy “Posada del Inca” Eco Lodge.

Breakfast and the morning at leisure; around noon walk down by the Inca “Grand Stairs” and the Sacred Fountain; taste the water believed to give eternal youth and happiness. Lunch at the Uma Kollu archaeological Restaurant; Visit the small handicraft market. Continue to the Moon Island and the Sun Virgins Temple “Iñak Uyu”. Hydrofoil cruise to Copacabana, visiting the shrine and the Indian Dark Virgin. Continue by an overland journey back to Huatajata, to visit the Andean Roots Eco Village: The Altiplano Museum; Handicrafts village, the Mud Igloos and the mortuary towers of the Urus Chipayas. Meet the Limachi family, builders of the RA II and Tigris for epic expeditions across the Atlantic Ocean. See our elegant vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and the mythical Suri. Continue to the hotel in La Paz, enjoying the road running parallel to the mighty snowed peaks of the Andes. Overnight at a local hotel.

Transfer to the airport in La Paz for your flight to Uyuni. Arrive in Uyuni and immediately start an excursion to the Salt Lake and Isla Pescado. Uyuni is the largest salt flat on Earth, located on the Bolivian Andean Altiplano with 12.000 square Km; the Bolivian Andes offer stunning scenery which can hardly be matched. The sound of silence makes the heart beat faster and the surreal pentagons of crystalline salt, the pure sky and the cacti certainly make you feel that there is no other place like this in the whole world. Visit to Isla Pescado, also called “Incawasi”, an oasis with formations of algae and fossils. It is covered by thousands of giant columnar cacti, which can be more than a hundred years old, growing to a height of over 12 mtrs. The landscape against the background of the salt pans extending to the horizon makes it an ideal place for photography hunters. Lunch included. Overland transfer to Jirira. Dinner and overnight at Uyuni Salt Lake aboard a Deluxe Airstream Camper.

Although Hydrofoil service is on a shared basis, each booking will have a private guide in their language: overland private services or private Hydrofoil charter on request. Under exceptional circumstances, our itinerary may vary, but our passengers will always visit the most traditional sites of the program. Speedboat provided when no Hydrofoil is available between Copacabana & Sun Island. All Hydro Foil packages are on SIC basis & private ground connections are provided on request.
