Itinerary
Start your journey from Muscat and drive along the road to Quriyat. From here, you will travel inland for about 20 KMs to see “Wadi Daygah Dam”, set in desert terrain against a mountainous backdrop above the Al Mazara village in the Vilayat of Quriyat and the biggest manmade Dam in Oman. At 75 meters high, this dam straddles 400 meters across the wadi gorge with a 100 million cubic meter reservoir. Definitely a tourist attraction. You then proceed along an off-road track through the Hajar mountains on your way to visit “Wadi Al Arbaeen”. On route, you will see a few “Mushroom rocks”, a naturally occurring rock formation whose shape, as its name implies, resembles a mushroom. You then reach the wadi where you will find a pool of crystal clear intense turquoise blue waters, which are cool and inviting for a swim. Picnic lunch under one of the many shades of palm trees in the surrounding area. After lunch, we head back to Muscat via “Wadi Mayh”, a long valley that lies between Yiti and Sifah. You drive along asphalt and gravel roads through an enormous mountain range which is naturally engraved with many layers created through different geological periods and boasts a massive display of rock art. This picturesque landscape is dotted with small streams and pools of fresh water, alongside you will also find a Falaj system used by villages and farmers. Return to Muscat.

Notes
Dress Code During Tours
-Swimming in Wadis – Wadis are a public tourist area and hence, it attracts both tourist & locals equally. Keeping in mind the country’s culture, all women are requested to wear clothes up to the knees. T-shirts & shorts are fine. However, bikinis only are not recommended.
-During other tours – Smart casuals are suitable especially if visiting local villages and meeting local people.
