Departure from Salta to start our trip through Calchaquíes Valleys. During the trip, we stop at Del Obispo Slope, Tin Tin Straight and Los Cardones National Park. In Cachi, we have time for lunch (not included) and to walk around the town. Then, we continue towards Cafayate through National Route 40, passing by enchanting towns such as Seclantas, Angastaco and Molino’s, apart from amazing De Las Flechas Gorge, a curious rocky formation. In the morning, we visit the city and after lunch (not included), we drive to Salta, visiting De las Conchas Gorge, characterized by its curious formations such as the Amphitheatre and the Devil’s Throat, product of wind and water erosion. Early in the morning, we travel along Del Toro Gorge to discover the town of San Antonio de Los Cobres and explore part of the Train to the Clouds’ trail. After lunch (not included), we continue through Jujuy’s Puna until Salinas Grandes Salt Flat, the third largest in the world. Then, descend by the Cuesta de Lipán to Purmamarca, where is located the well-known De los Siete Colores Hill. Accommodation. Today we explore Huma Huaca Gorge which is a Natural and Cultural Heritage Site, visiting typical and colourful villages such as Tilcara, Uquía and Huma Huaca.
