The tour will start 50 km north out of the city to visit one of the most important archaeological sites in the country known as the Pyramids of Teotihuacan, where we can appreciate the majesty of its temples. Depart south of Mexico City to visit Coyocan to admire the 16th century houses, tree-lined streets, and learn how this city has played an important role in historical empires such as the Aztec and Spanish. Finally, visit the Frida Kahlo Museum known as The Blue House, where Frida Kahlo was born and to which she returned during the last years of her life. See a wide variety of Mexican folk art and indigenous jewellery from her personal collection. Then, departure towards the south of Mexico City to visit Xochimilco, here you will find lush vegetation, floating gardens and you can see the chinampas. Also, enjoy a 2 hours trajinera tour (a colourful boat similar to a gondola used by the Aztecs) to take a ride through the famous canals of the neighbourhood.

Transfer from the hotel to Mexico City Airport (MEX), to fly to Mérida. (Flight NOT included) Upon arrival in Mérida, pick-up your car at the airport directly and drive to your hotel. Then, tour of the city where the most emblematic places are visited in the company of an expert guide. During the panoramic walk the history of the city is contemplated from the time of the Mayans to the Spanish colonization.
