The hotel offers tastefully decorated rooms, two restaurants, bar, conference facilities, swimming pool and a host of other facilities.

Leaving Nairobi after breakfast, you travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the rift escarpment on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. On the way spot the charming chapel built at the foot of the escarpment. Pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the valley to Narok; continue your travels across acres of wheat and barley, before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Following lunch set off on your first game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Keekorok Lodge was opened in 1965 and lies at the southern end of Masai Mara National Reserve, approximately 280 kilometres from Nairobi. It is sited in the direct path of the annual migration and was the first lodge to be built in the Mara. At the height of the migration, Keekorok is surrounded by a swarming mass of animals and there is hardly a need to go on a game drive. Keekorok's charm lies in the liberal use of local building materials. Sandstone, cedar wood and other indigenous materials are used in all rooms and public areas. In front of the lodge there is a 300m elevated walkway that meanders through a small riverine forest to a small bar at one end. This overlooks a dam where resident hippo and other game are regularly seen.

Overnight at Keekorok Lodge in a Standard room on a full board basis.

Following an early breakfast, depart on a morning game drive, returning to the camp mid-morning. After lunch, and perhaps a siesta, set off on another game drive returning to the lodge as the sunsets. (It is possible to pre-book an optional early morning Balloon Safari at a supplementary cost).

Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Now, travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley to Mai-Mahiu, before arriving at Lake Naivasha around midday. Following lunch and a siesta, depart on an afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha, with the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Lake Naivasha Country Club offers an abundance of activities to please all tastes. The resort dates back to the 1930s when it was first opened as a staging post for Imperial Airways flying boat service from Durban to Dublin. Since then, it has transformed into a sprawling 55-acre property with a variety of accommodations and guest facilities.

The Hotel offers a combination of Food and Beverage outlets. Flavours, the main restaurant of the hotel, serves International Buffet-style meals. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in a Standard room on a full board basis.

Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge - Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national park.

Secluded within a grove of acacia trees, the lodge looks out over the golden savannah plains, with uninterrupted views of the mountain itself. Close by are a series of emerald-green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. As the only sources of water in the park, this attracts huge numbers of wallowing elephants, hippos, buffalos and plains game. Meanwhile, from the prehistoric site of Observation Hill, the sunset over Kilimanjaro is truly magnificent.

At the centre of ‘Maasailand', the lodge's décor reflects the brilliant primary colours and iconic shapes representative of these legendary warriors. At the heart of the lodge, shaded by palm trees, is a free form swimming pool; to either side of which stretch the rooms. Each room is housed in a single storey building opening directly on to the grounds, each reflecting a Maasai manyatta theme, each with its own hand-painted wall frescos.

The central dining area is reached by a timbered bridge over a melt-water stream, while the lounge and bar feature a broad terrace and a blazing fire-pit where evening cocktails can be enjoyed. Activities include daily game drives in custom-built traditional safari vehicles, ‘sundowners' on Observation Hill, bush breakfasts, bush dinners, Maasai dance performances, visits to Maasai villages and tree-planting programmes.

Our luxury en-suite rooms are accommodated in two single-storey dedicated buildings, which lie to the right and left of the main reception and dining areas. Each tastefully appointed room features a Maasai inspired, hand-painted, wall fresco, king-sized bed or luxurious twins, lavish all-encompassing mosquito curtaining, bathroom (with walk-in shower), writing/vanity unit, and private veranda. Triple rooms can be made available.

Following early breakfast, depart to Tsavo West arriving your lodge for lunch. The journey takes you east, across the spectacular Shetani lava flow, a reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries. A zig zagging road through scrub thorn and acacia leads you into Tsavo National Park, which together (East and West) form the largest of Kenya’s parks. Following lunch depart on an afternoon gamedrive, , including a visit to Mzima Springs with its underwater viewing holes. Return to the lodge as the sun sets.

Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge - Superbly situated in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro, and sheltered by the volcanic splendour of the Chyulu Hills, this classic stone-built lodge overlooks its own water hole, which is visited daily by elephants, buffalos and a wide variety of plains game. One of the first lodges ever to be built in a national park, the lodge is cool, tranquil and hushed for optimum game-viewing. It is also ideally placed for visits to all the park's prime attractions.

Faced in volcanic stone and utilising the natural rocky outcrops of a valley known as ‘the place of the young rhino', from which it takes its name, the lodge features a thatched central dining area and a rock-built bar, with a viewing terrace looking directly down on to the waterhole.

All the spacious en-suite rooms have their own verandas, some overlooking the waterhole, some the Chyulu Hills, which are one of the world's youngest volcanic ranges. As for activities, the lodge offers numerous game drives, guided walks, bush breakfasts, volcano climbs and trips to Mzima Springs, a set of crystal-clear ponds, fed by the melt waters of Mount Kilimanjaro, in which the many hippos can be viewed from a submerged chamber.

Overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in a Standard room on a full board basis.

This morning, following early breakfast, and a gamedrive enroute to the gate, continue to Taita Hills Sanctuary arriving for lunch at Taita Hills Safari Resort. Following lunch, transfer to Saltlick Lodge. After a short siesta, depart on an afternoon gamedrive, returning late afternoon. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure, viewing game from lodge’s underground hide or from the lodge balcony.

Salt Lick Safari Lodge is in the heart of a private Wildlife Sanctuary which lies adjacent to Tsavo National Park, therefore playing an increasingly important role in the protection and conservation of Kenya's wildlife heritage. The entire lodge is raised on stilts, providing 24-hour game viewing opportunities from any corner of the lodge. The rooms are built in two-story blocks from a central pod and linked together by elevated platforms. Each room is spacious and beautifully appointed, featuring exquisite ethnic décor in keeping with the Tsavo environment. Rooms have all the necessary modern conveniences. The restaurant, bar and main balconies have views over the water hole and salt lick, which is constantly in use by local park residents. There is also an underground hide for closer encounters.
