Itinerary
On arrival, you will be met by a Lakituvat representative and transferred to your cabin. The cabins are located at the top of the Ousnasvaara fell, in a forest covered in snow in the winter months. Sightings of reindeer and the Northern lights are common. The cabins are cosy and can comfortably accommodate up to six people, with two bedrooms located on the ground floor and extra beds in the loft. The cabins feature a private sauna and fireplace. Dinner is included.

Breakfast is served at the Royal Reindeer restaurant, within walking distance of the cabin. Today we recommend a visit to Rovaniemi city, located a short drive away. In the centre, you will find many shops as well as the Arktikum museum, which is worth a visit. Also located a short drive away is Santa's Village, and the exhilarating snowman world - An absolute must for any visit to Rovaniemi. If of interest, let us know, and we will gladly assist you in the planning. Dinner is included and served onsite in the restaurant.

Enjoy your time, simply by taking in the nature around you and relaxing, or if you prefer, we will gladly assist with our recommendations to fill your day; try out snowmobiling, ice fishing or maybe the thrill of a husky adventure? You are near Ounasvaara ski resort, with downhill ski slopes, and we highly recommend that you give this exhilarating sport of downhill skiing a go. Dinner is included and served onsite in the restaurant.

Local tip
The chalets are located close to Ounasvaara ski slopes, and we highly recommend that you enjoy some downhill skiing. It will be worth it.
